Thanks for the content, I think I've watched almosr all of your videos. I hunt public land in Northern WI so I have similar experiences. A couple comments on small openings. The Aspen doesn't sprout as well if you only cut a few trees either because uncut adjacent aspen trees have connected root systems preventing the cut trees from sprouting or the opening is too small, not allowing enough daylight. Also, hinge cutting Aspen may just kill it as opposed to getting it to sprout. The early successional species you're promoting will respond better with a larger opening and more daylight, but it looks like you're happy with the results. Keep the videos coming.
