You will understand where this Jimin comes from if you listen to his album face and if you watch his interviews about this album. He was in a very dark place during the pandemic. He didn’t share details but it seems it brought him to a lot of drinking. The other members kinda waited for him to ask for help and he finally did during their time in Vegas. They told him to use music to work through his issues. So he took a few of the in house producers and spent some time with them creating his album face. It’s very personal. This was his pre-release track but is meant to be at the end of the album. Army was very surprised with this song. Many loved it but some fans was very upset at how different he was here, not the pretty guy with angeblic vocals. But this simply illustrated his difficulties in the past and how he was liberated. FYI...Jimin is a very popular and very much loved by Army but he also has a lot of haters. He gets a lot of death threats and very negative stuff on social media. All of them do, but the attacks on Jimin are just vile. Mostly it comes from solo fans of the other members or from ship wars! Ugh those are toxic! So this song shows him going through all that and coming out whole and free at the end! So yes it’s style is very different but it’s quite symbolic and powerful for him!
I wish you guys could see this man live…I saw him up close at barricade TWICE and let me tell you this man’s stage presence is absolutely mind blowing!! His talent and diversity is out of this world!! He truly is so incredible. I love all 7 of the BTS members. They’re all incredibly talented, but, to me, Jimin is the one who stands out, excelling in all areas - dance, vocals, stage presence, etc. He absolutely eats up the stage in live performances. He can also rock any hair color, but I love black hair Jimin the most, which is his natural hair color.

You will understand where this Jimin comes from if you listen to his album face and if you watch his interviews about this album. He was in a very dark place during the pandemic. He didn’t share details but it seems it brought him to a lot of drinking. The other members kinda waited for him to ask for help and he finally did during their time in Vegas. They told him to use music to work through his issues. So he took a few of the in house producers and spent some time with them creating his album face. It’s very personal. This was his pre-release track but is meant to be at the end of the album. Army was very surprised with this song. Many loved it but some fans was very upset at how different he was here, not the pretty guy with angeblic vocals. But this simply illustrated his difficulties in the past and how he was liberated. FYI...Jimin is a very popular and very much loved by Army but he also has a lot of haters. He gets a lot of death threats and very negative stuff on social media. All of them do, but the attacks on Jimin are just vile. Mostly it comes from solo fans of the other members or from ship wars! Ugh those are toxic! So this song shows him going through all that and coming out whole and free at the end! So yes it’s style is very different but it’s quite symbolic and powerful for him!

I wish you guys could see this man live…I saw him up close at barricade TWICE and let me tell you this man’s stage presence is absolutely mind blowing!! His talent and diversity is out of this world!! He truly is so incredible. This man can do EVERYTHING!! 👏🏼👏🏼 and to answer the question, this song was definitely a way to “set him free” from all the turmoil and hardships he went through in the past. You have to react to his album cause his album Face tells a story of all the things he went through. And this was him speaking to the haters the “ops” and essentially was “reborn” at the end of this (which is why he’s in white) basically saying he’s broken free from that hard time in his life and is finally healing from hate as well. There’s SO much more meaning underlying with it you just have to react and learn the lyrics of what they mean. This def for us was a complete shock when Jimin released this because this was a side we hadn’t ever seen before. He’s just incredible man. Truly incredible.
