Another excellent video. We lived at Nuneaton for a couple of years around 1964-66 and me and some mates spent hours on the bridge at the London end. I remember the Class 40 hauled expresses, and also the first AC electrics flashing through.
Voyagers are diesel powered and only have 5 coaches & can join together to make 10 coach trains & on rare occasions even 15! Pendolino's are electric, and have 9 or 11 coaches. Voyagers operate routes often where the electric wires don't access, like Chester and North Wales while the pendolino's operate to Manchester, Glasgow, Liverpool & Birmingham from London. Voyagers also run between Birmingham & Scotland, even though that is all under wires.
@TheSolnabo the pretendolino is a replacement for the written off pendolino that crashed in grayrigg in 2007. It is called the pretendolino because it looks like the pendolino at first glance but it is a rake of mk3 carriages with a class 90 or 91 and a DVT
Very interesting, I assumed empty stock because we often get a pendo go down five on a Monday but that is ECS, they have: 5A24 booked which is timed Nuneaton at 1600.

Very nice bit of filming there, and shows just how busy Nuneaton can be in the space of an hour!
Nope, there was safety checks on the up fast so it was blocked for a while. Empty movements during the day are extremely rare for Virgin Trains...
I like at The Freightliner movements. The Class 90 and 66s. ;) Brilliant Video

I like english traffic ! thanks for sharing !!!
Love that station, I go to Atherstone, 1 station up the line because I can see the numbers so I write them down, you should pay it a visit.
What type is `Pretendolino´?
P.S. I´m from Sweden and love Pendo´s :D
Cheers
Interesting video to say the least.... I'd say the Voyager on the slow is an ECS move, happens quite regularly.
Forgive my ignorance, but I'm Canadian. What is the difference between Pendolinos and Voyagers?
What is that noise at 03:09?
