Ohh cool may add to my already pages long list for SG, love that I can try dishes and not feel bad about my somewhat American taste , not to mention it’s probably cheaper than eating on Sentosa
Yes, plus you can eat all you want. of course vivocity is a big mall with many other restaurants that you can also try. Enjoy your stay in Singapore. 😃
As long as we find value in it, we are happy and feel satisfied. Buffet works by volume, so the food price is lowered with higher volume(lower margin but higher income via higher volume). That maybe why they need to do a 90min buffet continuously running non stop so they can have higher volume to offset the food price. So win win , they happy, we happy. 😊☺
With a 90min time limit u know what, i would have just stood at the buffet station n ate there all the way non stop. Wont bother w walking back to my seat 😂
@@grunt72 How was it? is it better? Personally, I would definitely say the location is much better plus there is the view. (though with the limited time, the eyes have to be focusing on the food and the ice-creams than the sea view. 😂
Haha.. yeah yeah... 3 hours eating sure can.. especially while slowly appreciating the full range of ice cream. But but... 90mins is all we have.. Just have to focus on eating, can make plans on what to eat before going. Jia you... 😁
Yes, like there are 48 Flavours of Ice-cream and Gelato, so so many to try. But what is not a lot is Time. That is not Unlimited, so do your homework and just focus to eat what you like. 😅
my guess will be that the prices per pax is kept lower by having a 90mins buffet, this allows them to keep having customer coming in and out while the food doesn't change. Unlike in a hotel buffet where it is limited by the number of tables and just 2 time slots of Lunch and Dinner.
@jessical7083 Yes, the Swensen's Unlimited at Changi Airport T2 also have the 90 min limit. They are basically the same, food wise, opening hours, and even the prices are the same. The main difference is the location, with VivoCity, it is much closer to many of the local population and it has a much better dining view. (Changi Airport T2 has no windows and no views)
Lunch(11am to 4:30pm) Monday to Friday : S$35++ Adult , S$15++ Child (5 to 12 years old), below 5 years old free. Saturday, Sunday, Eve of/on Public Holiday, Eve of/on Special Occasions : S$50++ Adult , S$30++ Child (5 to 12 years old), below 5 years old free. Dinner(5pm to 11pm) (Last serving at 10:30pm) Monday to Thursday : S$38++ Adult , S$25++ Child (5 to 12 years old), below 5 years old free. Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Eve of/on Public Holiday, Eve of/on Special Occasions : S$60++ Adult , S$30++ Child (5 to 12 years old), below 5 years old free. The Lunch 4:30pm is seated by time. Thus you pay Lunch price seated by 4:30pm and eat till 6pm(90mins). If you seated by 5pm and eat till 6:30pm.. it will be Dinner price. The price difference will be great between lunch and dinner on Friday.. As Friday Lunch is at $35++ while Friday's Dinner is at $60++
Thank you, it is the Huawei GT4 Black. (last year model, this year is GT5) 😊 I like it because of the long battery life. I don't have to charge it every day. More like once a week or so.
@cangowalk I like it because of the green numeral digits just like those classic calculator. Are they accurate for the heart rate, steps etc compare to Apple watch?
@@charliechan8541 The green numeral digits is a free changeable watch face that I downloaded from the huawei health app. They have a lot of different watch faces to choose from. And I choose this, it is called "Electronic". As for heart rate, steps, its pretty good. What apple watch tends to win from what I understand is their sleep tracking. But apple watch battery life is like a day, so have to charge everyday. You can watch this youtube video to compare the two. (its with GT5 pro with apple watch 10) th-cam.com/video/6MegtaRUz9w/w-d-xo.html
When I called them, they told me maybe just some slight changes of dishes, but when I went there for both Lunch and Dinner, it is basically the same. maybe you get curry chicken instead of rendang beef, or you may get the slider burger instead of the mini hotdog.. But the number of dishes are the same. Same goes for the ice creams. May have slight changes depending on stock of the flavour but it will alway have 48 flavours of ice-creams.
Swensen's is here for business, as of now, even with the 90 mins time limit, there are still lots of people queuing up. unless business is bad and they will have to either reduce price or increase timing to attract more business. But due to the T2 unlimited being so popular, they have now open another unlimited at vivocity and increased their weekday prices, So I doubt they will increase the 90mins as increasing means they will have less capacity per day which means less profit. Don't get upset with it, just go and enjoy what they have. Cheers...
For that price, quality and quantity of food ppl should be very happy and 90 mins is sufficient and ample time to enjoy your meal without any complaints, unless you want to chit chat...Shalom❤
Yes, agreed with you that 1.5hrs is kind of stressful short time. So just have to focus on eating and not much time to social with friends or family. As for the food, well, roast beef isn't at hawker, and also the array of ice-cream is not hawker taste. We all have a choice, to just give it a try or just to skip it. As long as we are happy, that is more important. Cheers.. 😊
Let's have a "Glass is half full" view instead. 90 mins for ready cooked food is much better than buffet like at Suki-ya steamboat buffet where it is only 80mins and worst is we have to cook the food before we can eat, which takes away more precious time. 😅🤣😂
@kwpf Yes.. very true, but it is also about having another choice, this time much nearer for more locals than before at Changi Airport T2. Also the other main attraction is the spread of ice-cream. Swensen's is famous for their Ice-cream. Mass market buffet tends to have those paper cup ice-cream with very limited choices. 😊😁
WORST BUFFET EVER ( changi airport). Just because there are only 2 customers, when times up not even one minute, they would come and chase you out of the restaurant telling you times up. Then the next table which has 10 customers was there so much much longer than you didn't get chased.... Go to a hotel buffet..... Although it costs more , at least you won't get chased out of the restaurant.
Totally understand how you feel. So unfair, but it could also be a matter of luck, as I had said in the earlier video at Changi Airport T2 Swensen's Unlimited that they depended on the few staff that have to constantly monitor which table is times up by manually checking on the receipt. So there are chances that they will missed some. They could have a system to keep track of which table are up easily but didn't. Alternatively, you could just carry on eating by not returning to the table. Just take a small portion and eat standing. Yes, it's stressful. As you have said, just pay more for hotel buffet and enjoy slow and peaceful buffet. 😂
Kway pie tee can add anything you want, can take the prawns from the seafood on ice, or even try roast beef kway pie tee. that is the beauty of buffet, we can mix and match any way we like. As for the chef, give him time, maybe it was his first time doing the carving station. after a while, he will be much better. 😀

The music is annoying and sorry, I stopped watching after less than 2 minutes. In fact, a lot of very interesting and popular videos don't have bgm, such as those created by 'Dancing Bacons'. Don't bother about me as you've a lot of supporters . I'm just a person who hates this kind of music.
Thank you very much for the feed back. Doing it without bgm is so much easier, I don't have to spend so much time finding and trying to match the music in. Just simply add in the videos. I will try to see if without bgm will be better. Again, Thank you very much for your feedback. I value and appreciate every feedback so I can improve and get better. 😀
The main attraction is the ice-cream and some of the cooked items, if you don't fancy those items and just want a good time eating self cooked food, steamboat or any of the self cooked varieties will be more value for money as they no need to have someone to cook the items. Again, we all have choices. It is good to have choices, enjoy and be happy filling up. Cheers..
