Ian somerhalder as Damon Salvatore has been one of the biggest influence on me. I used to be very very impulsive back then. But I earnt to be selfless when it mattered the most like Damon did. I found my love in the same way too. Being selfless even when it hurt me all the while when she wasn't in love with me, but when I let her go.. she came back to me. And we're a couple now. Been 2 years already.

Just like Johnny Depp charakters play Johnny not the other way around, damon play Ian.
Because ian has the same facila expressions, ticks, way of sitting, walking. Glareing, stareing, same way of jokeing. Sometimes actors give new ticks and expressions to their charakters to make them unique and stand out from themselves but I love it when they don't. When the actor and charakter basicly is similar because the actor brings lot of him/herself into his/her charakter. In that way the charakter never truly dies because in some way they're connected.
