@@deborahlee7496 You can try grid-paper ! Handwriting tends to look neater on it and it is easier to draw diagrams and allows for different structures of notes while still providing a strong guideline for handwriting although it can be expensive.
If the evaluation point was a research study, I would write it in my revision note and highlight the key information such as the researcher's name and what they found. Your teacher may tell you that you don't need to memorize the researcher's name but I memorised as much of their names as I could because it helped my brain to sort out the different studies. I also memorised the generic evaluation points such as "reductionism", "ethical issues", so that I could apply them to my essay if I forgot any of the main evaluation points. Also, once you start writing your essays over and over again when practising, you find that the evaluation points stick to your memory a lot more easily. Hey, I am a new subscriber and can I just say your channel is so useful - so glad I found you! I have learnt so much from your videos, especially since I have just started A-Levels. Thank you, have fun at Uni! 😄
Loved this video ! It has some helpful tips that well i already know by now but some people might still be figuring out how they want to take their notes. I also really liked the flow of the video and how it was structured! There is still room for improvement on the editing skills but it was still quite nice. Keep going!
Hi I know this is late but when you did your GCSEs would you do this for every topic in science for example biology and would u consider flashcards xx and how often would you use / study these mind maps x
Thank you so much! This is really helpful! Right now, I am trying out different revision techniques so I will test this one out! Good luck for your A-Levels queen! 👑💖 Also, your handwriting is AMAZING!!!
I found it better to make flash cards on specific things that I needed to memorise after making my notes. Remember that BIO, CHEM, PSYCH are very information dense subjects so you may not have time to make notes AND flashcards for every single topic. So what i would do is to make notes and then revise those notes as you write them and if there are things that you keep on forgetting or things that you just need to memorise then put that onto flashcards. For Example with Psy, your notes may consist of the textbook content and class work, then as you revise that, you can make flash cards on the researcher's names you keep forgetting or bullet points to explain the memory store model etc. Hope this makes sense and helps!
Love this but I can never write straight on blank paper
Same lol
Same. I want to write in blank paper so it looks neater but I end up having to used lined paper

Boss sorry one more question xd, How did you memorise essays specifically evaluation points?

Hi Boss, question would you after making notes, use flashcards for all the notes? I do bio, chem and psych a levels so, any help much appreciated
