It’s kind of a bummer the clutch went out on this but it’s lived a long life and has served the people who own it well. Sadly, I don’t think anything made today will be around in 30 years time, even Speed Queen isn’t built like the older machines are since they have bearing and seal issues.
Even in gentle mode it has better wash action than today's. I had one of these. It lasted a long time with no issues.
I can't believe it lasted a long time! Hopefully the new machine will be reliable!
Those where great machines

Eh, well that's how things are these days. Nothing we can do about it
Rip to one of my favorite washers out there
Cant the clutch be replaced? Surely theres one on ebay or somewhere.
what’s it being replaced with?
I forget exactly, but I think it was a base model Amana. They don't do a lot of laundry, and they needed something inexpensive.
Amana is cheap and destroys clothes. You get what you pay for.
@@dtxgmoney no it’s not. it’s the best top load out there currently
@@washingandmowing15the internet is littered with complaints about their washers tearing up clothes.
@@dtxgmoney it doesn’t i promise
