- So excited to share that my last daughter, Riya, is getting married to a Punjabi family soon!
We recently had a Rokha function to celebrate the new relationship between the two families. Rokha means 'rokh' or to stop, signifying that both families have 'stopped' looking for suitors for their child. It's the start of the courtship period between the groom and bride.
The function kicked off with a warm welcome for the groom and his family. The groom's side surprised with a super fun flash mob dance too! The elders blessed the couple with gifts and heartfelt blessings. Then, we had an amazing evening filled with dancing and pure celebration!
God Bless The Jodi with all positive things in their marriage journey
