Yes I crochet. I have been crocheting for years. I've been crocheting a lot lately. I made my daughter a sweater and a dress and made myself an afghan and now I am making her one. I've done all that since Christmas.
Love the simple self watering system with the terra cotta pot!! The hoyas are awesome! I have the lacunosa. Just the regular green one. But I noticed a tiny peduncle about 10 days ago. When I checked more closely I found 3 or 4 more peduncles in various stages of blooming!! Sooo excited. My first Hoya to bloom since getting into this new plant collecting hobby!😮❤😂
Thank you for guiding me in the direction of this video. I’m happy to say my soil mix is very similar to yours minus the coconut husk and using small perlite. I need to source inexpensive chunky perlite as I really like your mix! Thanks again!
I like the self watering pot you used for the alocasia. I've thought about putting my asparagus fern in one. I taught myself how to crochet about 7 years ago as I was quitting smoking. It really helped having something to do with my hands. I like to make hats but I just recently did a CAL for a blanket I made for my daughter. It was challenging but that made it more enjoyable! Good luck with your corms!💜
The vibes in this video are 🤌! As far as crochet, you know I'm big into amigurumi (especially my SOP's). But I also LOVE elaborate crochet from the center out blankets. I've made a few garments (not following a pattern) and am currently working on two sweaters (again, not from patterns). One sweater is a surprise (I'll DM you because I love it and haven't showed anyone yet!)! And your purse turned out SO GOOD!!!!!
I love that you’ve picked up reading! ☺️ I’m currently reading Fourth Wing and a little over halfway and omggg it’s SO GOOD! Also the alocasia you potted up into the self watering pot looks so gorgeous and lush! ✨🫶🏽
i really like how you potted up the alocasia! i must have missed this plant in the past bc i didn't realize how awesome it is. the variegation kind of reminds me of a philo burle marx. so pretty! i'm lifelong reader and yeahhh kindle makes it so much easier to read with kids or before bed. don't have a kindle anymore but i use the app all the time and set the page background to sepia. i'm not necessarily on the lookout for a new hobby, but my mother-in-law needlepoints and i'm thinking of picking up a small ring to work on. i would love to make little art pieces for friends and to display around the house
Thank you! I love that about the Kindle app and the needlepoint. There's something so special about having your own art/someone else's art hanging up in your home!!
Very curious how the terra cotta self watering pot works. I wonder if it just absorbs water to the point of being level with the reservoir. Also your nails are looking super pretty! 👌

My favorite mix for my Alocasias is PON. They love it.

I think a fern would love a pot like that!
That's amazing!! I also love having something to do with my hands. It calms me down.
Thank you!

that's wonderful!! how rewarding!
I have the regular polyneura, the broget (sp?), and I really want the outer variegated and the inner variegated. 😕
That pot!! Do you have a link as to where your gift giver bought it from?
I think the brand was Phoenix Vine
Love the adonsonii. The perlite is what brand. Thanks
It was from Amazon; the brand is "Voulosimi"
