There’s an accident almost everyday on the turnpike. The other day traffic was at a stand still for almost 3 hrs. So yes easy turnpike access but you’re not going anywhere. And Clermont/minneola is already full. Take Orlando traffic and congestion and put it in a small town.
I was doing a virtual showing of two older farm homes, each on about five acres last night. Absolutely gorgeous sunset over the hills with the lake in the background. If anyone’s wondering-farmhouses that need complete remodels on five acres in this area are asking about 1M. There are beautiful estate homes surrounding the new development- tons of value and potential! Thanks for highlighting Minneola :)
Another awesome vlog Ken! You guys are always doing good things. Minneola is amazing area. We enjoy exploring that whole part of Lake County. Donut King Minneola is the BEST donuts in the area. We did a vlog there if you want to check it out. They are the best!
Ken, I really love the videos. So well done, so informative, so we'll produced. Awesome! 👍🤙💪 Now is it me or has zoning/planning not been going too well in our area for some years now? It feels like anywhere there is new construction happening a few years (or maybe even months) later that area is a traffic mess. I've recently come to the conclusion that if I were in the market for a house I would probably limit myself to an older neighborhood that is already built out and can't be screwed up by the new planning errors. Is it just me?
I've been wanting to move to Clermont for over 3 years and now it's too expensive for my family and Minneloa seems to be more affordable and lots of new construction coming up thanks for the info but any new homes nearby that are around 300k? Another concern is the job market my husband and my son need a job nearby and are there schools, clinic's, hospital nearby?
there are multiple hospitals in clermont, 10ish minute drive from minneola. Advent health is also building a hospital near the Publix/turnpike area. Lake county also has great schools!
There is a great school right off the turnpike like Grassy Lake Elementary School And Lake Minneola High School both in which I have and am attending everyone here is super friendly and caring and hurricane are no problem here
I've been looking at Minneola a lot... but it seems like almost all new construction is "closing out" or almost complete. Do you know how to find future communities in Minneola? I don't have my down payment saved yet so I can't buy right now but would like to gauge how many more communities will pop up within the next year/ year and a half.
There’s a lot more coming. You’re right tho, many of the neighborhoods are closing out. Feels like the secret is out on Minneola! Reach out to info@pozekgroup.com - I’ll make sure my lake county specialist fills you in with all the upcoming neighborhoods.
We're looking to move to the Orlando area and looking at different new construction developments. Minneola is definitely on our radar- thanks for this video. The area seems to make a lot of sense, especially with easy access to the turnpike. My question is; is there enough road infrastructure in place to handle the development/extra traffic that is coming down the road?
@@timeh328 Good to hear. Up here, around Charlotte, they seem to put the cart before the horse when it comes to roads and development. Sounds like a little more foresight down there, which is promising.
We just purchased in Horizon West (mostly because of my insistence), but my wife really wanted to buy in Minneola. Settle the controversy, Ken, and tell me which one of us is right!
I am paying $2,200 A month right now for a 2,000 sq foot house . My lease ends soon . I am hoping they will not raise the rent . But I need to find a cheaper place to rent in Winter Garden. I would appreciate it if you can do a video on house rentals. The house rentals are overpriced here. You can show how long the rentals have been empty. I am tired of Zillow suggesting rental amounts that are unrealistic. People should be aware that rental properties are overpriced and on the market too long
@@MrOrlandobob2 I see a house for rent since December of 2022 and they are asking way too much and it is still not rented out. I saw 3 moving trucks in my neighborhood today on Easter Sunday. Renters are leaving Florida
It's something that these areas did not build up years ago and now they're all of a sudden being discovered. Thank the free and open come on down Gov during the Pandemic. This is still part of the pandemic move down because the people that moved down at the beginning and middle of the pandemic are now talking to friends and family on how great it is. Well the quality of life is not what it was if you lived here in the 80/90s and first decade of the 2000s.
Had lived in the area since the early 2000's and finally had to get out of there. The last 5-7 years or so really saw that area grow from what was arguably the nicest place in Florida to a sea of garbage, cookie-cutter houses littering the hills and traffic becoming unbearable. It's only gonna get worse going forward.
I saw my house!! Thanks for highlighting the area.

It is because of the construction. Before they started that, the turnpike was fine. Once they finish widening the road, the turnpike will be great.
Great informative video Thanks!
Do you have any videos in Groveland?
Awesome Ken! Thank you for sharing!
Hidden gem and there's actual topography which adds so much to the area.
Good Coffee Morning Ken!! Just remember, your absolutely amazing, period! ☕️☕️☕️

Building in Minneola- can't wait! Good video.
Donut King really really is the Best!! Fresh, good size, and plenty of icing! They don't skimp like the other popular one.
Great seeing you the other day at EPCOT
Nothing beats hills in Florida
Hey Ken! Can you do a video on the new developments happening around Lake Alfred/Haines City/Winter Haven?

I am trying to see home in that part of Florida.

Yes traffic is horrible. I’ve lived here 20 years. It’s Orlando traffic in a small town.

Minneola sits right next to 27 (massive road), 91 (the turnpike) and multiple through roads. It’s a great flow ready for more traffic
They are also adding lanes to the turnpike as we speak to accommodate extra people flowing out of minneola.

Don't forget the good old CDD tax! Welcome to Florida.

Before Ken asks, “No, eating that donut doesn’t make you look fat.”
What you have to tell for people that don’t like cookie cutter and don’t want to soend more than 450k?
Look at outskirt areas (Eustis/Mt Dora) or older areas of Orlando (Sodo/Delaney park)
@@kenpozek thank you.
School teachers are the lowest paid in the nation. Teachers cannot afford rent and leaving in Florida. Teachers need to be paid more .
He loves all these places so much but won’t live there 😂
They definitely gave it this name to cater to all of the Long Island transplants that are moving down to Florida.
Minneola was established in 1926
Mineola is getting to big, traffic is a nitmare a nymore
dude stop publicizing clermont and minneola. traffic is so bad here i’m not tryna have more mfs move here😫
