A lot of people who do covers record it into a mic edit it then lip sync so
The singing is probably pre recorded and then she sings along in the video
I believe the adlibs and the parts where two or more "members" sing closely after each other or together are prerecorded. (obviously) So, like, she chose one of the lines there to sing, and then add on the other cuts (parts, adlibs...) when editing. You just have to look at her and focus on when she takes her breaths and so on, to find out which parts that recording session is for. But thus is how every artist has to do it. Unless the song is really bare and is only one take without any adlibs, harmonization or background vocals, then they will have to do multiple recordings for the different layers.
