It all starts with this blue-ish palette,to give that felling of happiness and exciment on your first day of your dream job,and then it slowly,very slowy switches to the usual Spooky month color pallets,until finally at the end,where kevin wakes up the full transformation happens.

Kevin is probably my favorite character in this series, the fact that he apologizes and gives skid and pump candy really shows who he is as a character. He's simply just a nice guy with a minimum wage job.

Man, I love the little details spread throughout this. One of my favorite things is the colors and how they shift from really bright and vibrant pastels to darker and muted blues as Kevin gets more and more drained from his job.
And the bright colors come back when one of the kids gives him the bag, but goes dark again after he opens it
I like how the kids ended up getting better costumes over the years.

I adore how all these characters work with and off each other. Kevin is just a guy trying to make a living, and even though Skid and Pump pester him, he’s still aware that they’re just kids and they genuinely don’t mean any malice. They’re just very unaware of the world, like kids are, which unfortunately leads to them getting caught in the crossfire far too often, which means other people end up being dragged in too.
Kevin messed up so bad I feel bad for Skid and even Pump because Pump's parents aren't there for him and Lila sometimes have to watch him. Is not really Skid and Pump's fault they just little kids and they still are they just I don't know things yet. Kevin really needs a vacation that poor guy waits for customers and works very hard too. This video is so sad and adorable at the same time good job Sr. Pelo! And I love the transitions for those episodes too.
The fact there’s stuff we haven’t seen yet during the montage at the end is terrifying to me. Can’t wait to see what’s to come! (Nothing good by the looks of it)

Kevin's first encounter with Skid and Pump turned out to be a nightmare for him later on.
I like how further events unfold, both in the episodes themselves and in the events of the future episode and the end of everything.
At the end where Skid asks to buy him a candy bar, it is the silhouette of his father, apparently Skid is very happy to see him alive and does not even know what he really is!
Sr Pelo, I adore you and your series Spooky Month, I so wish it would never end.
I love how something that more or less started as a stand-alone joke type video, evolved into a lore filled, beautiful, intricate series of videos, it’s really inspiring

Nice to see Skid and Pump in their original outfits, it was sad to see Skid cry when Kevin said that he was going to tell his parents, this likely took place not long after his dad died.
Also interesting how the montage had a mix of things that happened in the episodes and original stuff too, like Skid and Pump rapping with Boyfriend.

I think it’s so interesting to think about how Kevin feels seeing these kids constantly be tied to evil , yet he knows they’re still just kids. He knows that it’s not their fault and tries to be as understanding as his nerves allow. Love his character and loved this short ❤️

I love how the first time, the colors were bright and vibrant like how kevin was excited to work there, but as he went along with it the colors got darker to normal which show how he got sadder because of skid and pump.
And so it began... I love the detail put in the coloring, where everything is very bright and colorful at the start, and as time passes, everything becomes more opaque, and goes back to bright along with Kevin's mood, and then again back to darker hues. As a friend would say "Esto es cine!"

So starting from when he gives Skid and Pump candy as Moloch:
- Them meeting Susie and the Hatzgang, Roy presumably tells them something, they run off, Susie seems to yell at them and she runs after them, with everyone (except Roy) following after, shortly after, Lila, Jaune, and the cops confront Kevin for reasons unknown at this time, and as Lila and Jaune yell at him, the cops seem to be investigating (?)
- A short moment with Skid and Pump with Boyfriend from FNF
- Skid and Pump bring a huge spider to the candy shop, it traps them, it escapes, and Skid and Pump go after it
- The Cult surrounds Kevin
- Skid leads an unknown figure into the Candy Shop and leaves with a candy bar
- And finally, the area in black-and-white with a black diamond with cracks (?)

1:53 A couple things here. 1. Both Skid and Pump have their dad’s hair, which is heartbreaking in Skid’s case. 2. In the background, you can see a banner for Halloween masks. On the banner is a skeleton mask and pumpkin mask that looks very similar to Pump’s. The kids probably got their signature masks there and why they have makeshift ones in this short. 3. Lila. Her entire appearance is disheveled, from her hair being messy to wearing slippers, obviously grieving. Her hair is also not in the style she has for the series, rather she has her hair done like in the pictures around her house and in the ARGs(?) that happen each episode, specifically in pictures where the father was still alive. She’s also looking up at the sky, zoning out. Why I think this is important is because the cult that the father was in worshiped a being called “The Eyes of the Universe” which would tell it’s followers to look up at the stars, as we see in episode 2, and in every episode including episode 2, we see two stars that look like it’s eyes watching over the boys. Why do I bring this up? Because the father, who was a part of the cult, probably told Lila the same thing, and now she’s looking up at the sky because it reminds her of her recently deceased husband.

I never thought I’d ever see the day Spooky Month is actually released on October but it’s a welcome surprise. Also I love how the colour palette changes overtime in this short to show Kevin’s change in character, it’s a small yet neat little touch :D
