Can never understand the music industry. This album, this song, other tracks like "there's still life" and "she's a vision"...Blood Music was one of the stand out albums of the 90's!
The album was/is fantastic. Such a shame others didn't love it as much as a few of us did. A perfect example of when a band puts out a ridiculous amount of effort to create a work of art that gets panned so badly they end up breaking up. The swirling eddies, the oddly majestic chord progressions, this album and Lush's, also panned, Split easily personified the 90s. Both darkly magnificent treasures to this day.
One of my favorite songs from this band. I have to admit this is one of the heaviest shoegazing songs I heard in my lifetime. Also I remember when this song debuted on 120 Minutes in December 1993.
@@kshvedoff9348 I said one of the heaviest shoegazing songs I heard of in my lifetime. Go back and read it again. I heard of other heavier shoegazing songs like Crank by Catherine Wheel, Unfamiliar by Ride, or Sunshine Smile by Adorable. I know about Only Shallow or Soon by My Bloody Valentine also
@@kshvedoff9348 Who cares if it is at the bottom of the top 10? There are people who make music because they like to not like these clowns who like to chase the charts up and down like fools.
Banda infravalorada

zealous6 I always thought they’d sold out with this direction. Way too commercial and the video is just embarrassing.
@@adamsmith307 I agree this was awful but the rest of the album was pretty good
@@adamsmith307 Dude you are judiging an early 90s music video in 2020. Imagine in 30 years what our future self would think of music of today.

I loooove this album, yeah this video isn’t great, much like most early 90s videos

what do you mean by heaviest? Listen to My Bloody Valentine or Swervedriver, they have quite many "heavy" songs...heavier than this one for certain.

@@trainelavalais6280 yes, you got it right. This song is somewhere in the bottom 10 of top 100 heaviest of everyone's lifetime 😂

Nothing compares to Satin Safe.
great work...
Great Alt band.
When I first saw this video I was observing the keys. I was thinking about masonic lodges. I also was thinking about the Illuminati too.
This drum machine is sooo '80s. I guess, everyone used it... From Pop to Rock.
It's actually a sample of When The Levee Breaks by Led Zeppelin. Yes, it was everywhere for a while,

Loved Blood Music, but why were the 2 blandest songs released as singles?
This album is best experienced when listened completely in one run
