The clinkz was trying so hard to harass him that he kept letting the creeps hit him. He was getting damaged as much as earthshaker was, I cant believe that the clinkz plays in this bracket.
He's calculated the damage output. If he takes more 3rd(E) at the early lvl with lower stats he could deal more DPS and disable(stun) better than if he takes 2nd(W) since lower stats means the multiplier of 2nd would be low too (not as high as 3rd), plus there's no stun either so hard to land a hit with 2nd anyway. This is only my speculation and could be wrong, take it with a grain of salt
