No..this is Cordyceps militaris species which is legal to grow in india because it grows artificially in labs. Selling Cordyceps sinensis species is illegal which is present in himalayas. Since, it grows on insect in natural condition and local people are harvesting it every year disturbing naural habitat without thinking about ecological
Balance. There are many cases of disputes among the local villagers since day by day availaibility of this fungus in decreasing in himalayas. Both species known as keedajari. Even this species which we are growing in labs have more nutritional value than which is present in himalayas. But due to the rareity and illegal selling of cordyceps sinensis, it's rate in market is more as compare to cordyceps militaris.
