It's just the way the cookie crumbled that my gingerbread house was one Vanessa perplexed "what to do with this piece" pieces away from being a mansion instead of a long house.

The trick to have all your gingerbread house sides stand up is to cake it with icing on the cracks and put icing around the bottom like snow
