This is a superb piece of work, capturing the atmosphere of the original railway in its geographical setting far better than any book, or still photo could. Really well done.
Vic, you are a genius, that animated recreation brings it back to life. The canal bridge opened the other way, but apart from that is was perfect. Keep up the good work
I honestly hate to criticise but it’s Mill Pond, there were no gates at Ferry, the train travels far too fast and several station buildings simply did not exist. Howerver this must have taken simply ages to put together and you are to be congratulated. Perhaps if you were to remake the video my comments could be taken into account. Well done though.
Once I've made a video I don't go back to it, but I'm not from that area and not familiar with any of it but I did get information from the Colonel Stephens museum and also some local people...if they are all wrong and you are right fair enough, I've used O/S maps and various photographs, and was told at one point there were gates at Ferry but were removed but not sure of dates
Stunning video, showing enormous changes in about 100 years. Birdsong is wonderful. I'm speechless.

Never been called a genius but I'll take it and thanks for saying it-very appreciated
What a lovely video. I lived in Birdham for years and cycled everywhere. I loved it.
Brilliant! I walked every bit of the route as a child living in Hunston and was forever trying to picture it as it was.
Very cleverly done. I live near the route which in places has been built on including a care home so no going back. Thank You.
This is wonderful, really nice work Vic. Thanks for sharing it, brilliant!
Incredible.
What simulator do you use?
TS2023
@@whiskymacable Thanks. Great videos. I have Trainz 2019 myself

You may well be right apologies for being a pedant. Just watched it again and still impressed.
