Yes, unfortunately the game was not like that and the entire game was 70% Mortal Kombat 3 and the other 30% was Mortal Kombat 1 and 2, due to time issues, memory problems and Midway's lawsuits with the actors who fired. As you said, this must have been the final game, a whole edition with all the fighters and their appearances from each game, adding each and every stage.
