For anyone wondering: Durum = Dürüm (also called Yufka or Rollo). Same as a Döner Kebap but rolled on a thin baked dough.

Dürüm comes from the word "Dürmek" which means "to fold something cylindrically" so it doesn't mean a type of kebab on its own. It should be used like Döner Dürüm to be understood like what you said. And Yufka doesn't mean Dürüm, it is just a thin raw dough. I don't know about Rollo, it is not a Turkish word. And Döner literally means "it turns" in Turkish. Döner is made of thin leaves of lamb meat, marinated for 2 days in milk, onion, black pepper, salt and various spices. Then those leaves of meat are put on a rod and some lamb fat is put between layers. Then it is ready to be cooked while turning. In Germany, most Döners I have seen were factory made and like a huge meat ball.
We don't call Döner as Döner Kebap in Turkey, it is just Döner in here. What we call as kebap is usually Adana Kebap which is made of ground lamb mixed with onion, garlic, cumin, sumac, salt, black pepper and red pepper flakes; on a metal skewer to be cooked on wood fire or coal fire. But there are 102 types of kebap and this is just the most popular one. There is also Adana Dürüm which I would prefer any time over Döner Dürüm.
i guess that you can actually keep producing villagers once you get all the upgrades and either sling allies or actually add hussar / jannies to make it viable

At 17:44 I would flaring and cursing at my team mate to help. Viper on the hand doesn't even break sweat - even makes a joke if his teammate is going to help him. And that is why everyone loves The Viper not only the best player but a nice guy as well.

Well.. It's not that stupid of a question.. They shoot the same projectile as bombard cannons, and they are a great counter to siege rams..
Of course, back in the day I asked the same question in fact, obviously I was disappointed after seeing they inflict 1 damage to rams 😂
In better times, they did melee damage and were the kryptonite to rams. Considering how expensive bombard towers are and how late in the game they factor in, I don't think it was unbalanced. Towers are naturally vulnerable to rams, so adding in some bombard towers was the obvious counter. Bombard cannons and trebs are the counter to bombard towers.
10:50 i agree cav archers feel wierd. i feel like they take longer to reload, or to shoot after you order the attack
If they're in their windup animation before they fire and you issue an attack command, they'll cancel their current attack and reload another.
This is why you'll see all different types of units take 10 years to fire even though they're supposed to be ready to fire.
Their attack speed after movement is very slow but once they are standing still they get full attack speed as long as they stand still. It basically makes hit and run harder but once you get in position you can unleash full dps. The first attack takes a while to come out but then the second one comes out much faster if you didn't move.
That's because WK and DE patches are crap. Standard AOC is the best
@@23igna i mean mangudai were crazy in aoc so i dont really know if it's bad or good that micro got nerfed. Kinda feelsbad for the cav arch tho, they went from being #1 unit to a situational one.

They just need their frame delay shortened a little. It's too bad they're never seen. Even civs like Mongols with faster fire rate just use Mangudai instead because of the quicker reaction time but this can be understandable because of the additional castle age HP, attack at any stage, and the siege bonus. The only civs that use cav archers are Tatars and Huns, and that's because of the serious bonuses. Turks have full upgrades plus 20 additional HP available, Magyars have full upgrades plus recurve bow, and Saracens have full upgrades, but cav archers are seldom ever seen with these civs.

Pretty sure the doorbell and home delivery were invented before AoE and have been interrupting games since its creation. Only through the magic of streaming can we get an inside look at these unremarkable occurences.

That is what my childhood was like and I'm only 27. I still remember when people rang the door and I wondered if it was one of my friends. Now you know that it's just some service guy delivering a "something". People don't visit unannounced anymore. We've become so disconnected and artificial as a society. There are advantages to this way of life but it doesn't outweigh the risks. We are failing as a society. We can't find common ground anymore. We are worker slaves in a management model to our government rather than a community in a people's union.

Hand Cannon accuracy 0.65, Janissary accuracy only 0.50 despite being more expensive and slower to make.. Janis need buff!
Plus, I've tried Bombard Cannon projectile speed 5.0, simply a lot better than 4.0 and by no means unbalanced

Conversely, I think Janisarry should get a modest attack bonus against archers +5. Regular hand cannoneers have 17 attack with +10 vs infantry. Janisarry have 17 attack and Elite Janisarry have 23 attack. With the bonus, E.J. would have 27 attack vs archers just like H.C. have 27 attack vs infantry. They would still struggle against crossbow and arbalest as gunpowder lacks the accuracy and fire rate, but they'd do at least a little better especially when led with their light cav/ hussar line or rams. When they would land hits, they'd pack a punch.

I dont get why you stopped producing villagers. Specially once you have tons of stockpiled food and can just queue a bunch of them and forget about it, its not like the food was going toward anything else really.
I have to say I find 1v1 games a lot more interesting. Team games are usually each player just massing one unit because that's efficient.
