There is far worse to worry abt now a days. Not all harnesses are nsfw, even if they are, all communities have a nsfw side. We cant control everyones actions and we cant please everyone either. Sorry not sorry.
The harness in the gay community can be traced back to the 1960s where it was inspired by post-World War II biker culture. In the 1980s the harness became a fetishwear mainstay, but like with most things with a more risque history, it's being reclaimed and repurposed. It's more or less a fashion statement now; an embodiment of self-expression, pride, and liberation for the wearer. I would also point out that a harness can serve a practical purpose, especially when worn in conjunction with a fursuit: It offers multiple points from which to hang convention badges if so inclined.
Ha there I am lol with the blue backpack 🩵🧡 1:42

2:40 omg that pixel deer was so cute! Would've loved to be there.
It was miserable weather wise, but otherwise a fun time. Absolutely worth flying out from the UK for.

Let people enjoy things, if you don't wanna be around it, go somewhere else that's more to your liking. 🤷
