Stop dismissing everything he does. Patrick Mahomes sat his first year and had Andy Reid(Shadys goat coach), Tyreek Hill, and Travis Kelce. You don't think that accelerated his growth as a QB, he couldn't even read a defense. Imagine Mahomes first season playing he was coming off injury and had a bad coach and no weapons like Tua had his rookie season. (I'm not saying Tua is a better QB)
Shady and JJ hit it on this one IMO. Tua and TLaw should be very happy with 40-45 mil a yr. They dont deserve the big boy contracts and need the pieces around them.
@@emmanueldean8822 I can’t remember 1 win where I’ve thought wow if we didn’t have Tua… while there’s a ton of losses I’ve thought, if we just didn’t have Tua…
Conveniently none of them mentioned that Tua has also been in the MVP conversation for part of the season the last two years also. Also, when they talk about, who was he before Tyreek Hill Tyreek has had career high numbers being with the Dolphins. Again, career high numbers. The most yards he had before playing with Tua was 1,479. His first season with Tua he got 1,710 and last season he got 1,799.
Lol in the Playoff game that they are bashing Tua for Mahomes also looked like garbage but he was playing against a fully injured defense while Tua had to play against a top 2 defense. The conditions just weren’t good for football overall. The score looked bad 26-7 but the actual product was terrible, from both teams. We just forgot how Mahomes looked because they eventually went on to win the Super Bowl but that boy was 23-41, 266 yards, 1 TD. Tua was 19-39, 199 yards and 1 TD. Be so real dawg.
26-7 is a beat down shut up with the excuses. Tua doesn’t beat good teams either you don’t pay a QB all that money if they can’t lead you to a win in tough conditions or competition.
@@CLS_7301 If you’re gonna say Tua doesn’t beat good teams as a reason to not pay him then you can’t use the injuries against him because him not beating good teams was only a last year thing and frankly those games (go back and watch all 7) Tyreek fumbled or dropped sure fire TDs that would have tied, won or put us in position to win those game. Tyreek was way more at fault for those losses than Tua was. After Tyreek’s inability to capitalize that’s when Tua would start to press and make bad decisions and we’d lose those games but Tyreek was more the catalyst for those losses not Tua.
Mahomes was not garbage. He was moving the ball up and down the field all game and put up 300 yards of offense if you include his 41 rushing yards. He got his team into field goal range all game and it was enough to win cause Tua was significantly worse literally not generating any offense
if you are getting rid of Tua, who are you getting in return? he’s gonna get picked up by a desperate organization and probably win with him too. name all the QBs before Tua, a bunch of bums. only a few QBs in this year’s upcoming draft will be franchise QBs 1. Tua needs to be glad he has a job and not ask for so much money that others won’t be able to get. think about your teammates. 2. The Dolphins proving why they are currently a poverty franchise
Tua will get paid. I don't think he should hold out for what it's worth. If Tua isn't paid and he plays, every good game he gets (and we know how good the Dolphins are in the first half of the season) will increase that value
Shady is a hater. Josh Allen was trash until 14 showed up. Herbert got numbers early but not wins. Burrow had one good year with Chase and company. Go roll Tua's tape before Tyreek he's still accurate, didn't throw many picks and won games.

The games played to win games. Tuas Won games even on bad teams, Shady don't know what he talkin about. Also Tua showed more processing before McDaniel got there. These guys sooo clueless. Tua had nothing to work with and 4 different Offensive coordinators before McDaniel got there.
It’s time for everyone to admit that Justin had a great rookie season and has not had much sense to show for it. TLAW is a good QB why not pay him. Same with Tua. Shady acts like these qbs don’t need a good team around them. Not everyone is Tom, Patrick or Joe. Be realistic bruh.
Shady saying he was regular before Tyreek and before McDaniel needs to look at the situation. Tua had a head coach that hated him. Season one he tried to sabotage Tua by playing him before he was fully recovered from the hip injury. Flores basically destroyed the kids confidence by playing then benching him for Fitz multiple times in a season. They also gave him THREE offensive coordinators in his first two seasons. He still had a winning record and is the only quarterback to NEVER lose to a Bill Belichick coached team.
Shady is a Hurt guy and will always hate Tua. Tua wasn't great his first two years, but with no weapons and a head coach who did not help develop him, he still had winning seasons. No matter what, Shady will always bring up topics to serve his own narrative.
They were in the playoffs one of his years there. They had a good defense also. He had a winning record and got fired. They give tua the money and they will Regress. They wont keep half of the guys they have now. The also put up a better fight in the playoffs with a Backup so they need to really think about how much longer they want to be ok or bad.
and I love it when all these commentators talk about his tool can stay healthy no quarterback can stay healthy when he's got defensive lineman slamming his head to the turf in a wrestling move like the Bengals did and Milano in the Buffalo Bill game pushed Tua down after the ball was gone and it should have been called a roughing the passer but for some people they don't get that call Brady would.. but not them
Shady n Acho are both haters and changes there view because the producers say too. But Acho has big time hate for Hurts and it shows. How every Tua needs to have a reasonable contract ie Kyler Murry level or range any more then that cripples the dolphins and will have too hit on all picks, trades, free agents coming this year with minimum contract cost. Any higher then what is stated with security players in place then your dolphins are doomed before even getting started
Dak went 13-3 in his rookie year, Acho said only Patrick and Lamar had great rookie years, how do these people get on TV 📺 distorting the facts every day
I usually like Shady but come on now Tua was always known as a very accurate QB even before he got Tyreek and Waddle he just came into the league hurt thats why he didnt look as good Shady!!
Tua is not accurate in the NFL game. Every pass has the receiver waiting on the ball. He never leads or throws open his receivers. That's the system they built for Tua. They are betting on the play called and beating the defense and not having Tua beat that defense or throw a lot of picks.
Bro tua was doing what fitmagic was doing... he is right, people were looking to get tua out of maimi..before tyreek came. Now we can blame a defensive minded HC, but the fact of how the dolphins ended after tyreek went down last year must mean something to you
We can make this same argument about Josh Allen and Hurts without Diggs and AJ Brown. Josh was ok without Diggs, but nowhere near this freakazoid we see now. Hurts was downright awful without Brown. It ain't just Tua. The majority of QBs are going to be worse without high caliber weapons. It's a TEAM GAME. No qb is balling by themselves
@@neetrab bro, use some common sense and critical thinking lmao. The man did not have a great year if you watched all the games. The team won enough games to make the playoffs anyway, but he did NOT have a great season by any means. That extended out to the playoffs too where he was destroyed in Tampa where he again played awful
You’d think a great like shady would know that almost every qb would need help around them. Tua had almost nobody around him the first 2 years including coaching. I guess we could say Josh Allen should’ve taken a pay cut.
Exactly Acho! The staff matters! Name a current young QB who's been great without a good coach? Lamar / Harbaugh...Pat / Reid...Purdy / Shannahan ... Hurts / Siriani ... Love / LaFleur ... Burrow / Taylor etc. The QB's that struggle have coaches who aren't equipped to help that player reach his true potential (defensive minded with no real experience developing a QB). I honestly think that's why Josh hasn't taken the next step. Losing Dabol was huge! McDermott is not a QB whisperer. Draft the talent...then have a coach who can truly coach them up and develop them. Sometimes QB's can be saved with a coaching change ... look at the jump Trevor made with Pederson. Why do you think Herbert has faded? Why has Kyler not continued to progress? Coaching matters, and FLO wasn't "him" either.
I know that there are pros and cons about this and both sides have good points. I would say that Tua should play because he already getting paid for his upcoming season and he can show Miami his potential for bigger and better things to come, plus, his playing will help Miami see for themselves how valuable he is and that should shut the door on anymore delays plus the QB prices could go higher which will make Tua richer, be there is a caution- that he stay injury free
What makes the dolphins situaion sticky is that the weapons you built around Tua are only going to be here for 1-2 years MAX. In the time it would take to develop another QB to work in that system, the system will already have to be overhauled. McDaniel should be the coach for the Dolphins the next 6+ years, but even if he gets paid Tua's got that same 2 year window to get them to a championship game before they need to overhaul and let Mike cook up a new system.
Josh had 29 total TDs in his second season and made the playoffs at 10-6 then had an MVP caliber season in his third year and went to the AFC championship Acho has no idea what he's talking about as usual...
@@DaGreat52Like more than half of the QBs that are getting paid big money. I heard Trevor Lawrence is about to get like 50 million dollars a year and he only has 1 playoff win.

9:20 Shady you just started watching Tua NOW! He's always been accurate. Processing was never bad but it was slower as a rookie and sophomore which is expected. Tua us the same guy that got back to his Alabama form post injury. He a system QB like Brady but you really think that's bad? Hill has been better with Tua than Mahomes cause of that system. Long story short, Tua BEEN this good. Unless he gets hurt or lose ALL his weapons he'll be bottom end top 5 QB stats and bottom end top 10 QB talent
Why does everyone forget Coach Flores didn’t want Tua so he didn’t play Tua then the GM tried to get Sean Payton and Tom Brady that fell through they get a new coach and Tyreek and Tua been ballin ever since
Tua should definitely play. People say it’s bad for teams to wait too long to extend someone because that someone may ball out on their last year and be entitled to an expensive contract. This is Tua’s one opportunity to prove he’s the franchise QB and get paid big.
Being a Phinfan for 35 years!!!! I'm not content making the play-offs that's the problem with the franchise it should be Super Bowl champions or nothing. Pay Tua and get home field advantage for the play-offs!
Tua 32-19 as a starter, 8 game winning drives. Tua was more of a comeback artist in his early years, he's lost it lately I feel because of Mcdaniels complicated offense he has to think more. Hopefully he loses the playsheet wristband and calls his own plays this year
Every QB is a system QB. Some can carry a team to wins with talent, but without the right team around them and a system that fits their game they will fail. Tua has all that on offense.
That’s not fair to throw Burrow in there to say he wasn’t a really good QB before he got Chase. It’s imperative that you emphasize that Burrow was hurt that year. We DID NOT QUESTION Burrow’s ability! Not the same!
Shady throws hella shade at Tua but ends with “but I really like Tua” make up your mind he had a defensive minded coach that didn’t want him and just about every receiver he had before McDaniel doesn’t even play in the league before minus Waddle
It's crazy how they are blasting Tua. Most of those players Tua was playing with are already out of the league. Do they know that? Tua also was being sabotaged by Flores and CO. and switching him with Fitzpatrick. Tua came to the league injured and was trying his best to stay healthy. Josh Allen was nothing until he got some help. What has Herbet done??
Sometimes with a contract it’s more about the business and fans. Teams just with to sell march, tickets, get TV times maybe get a home playoff game, some of these players are popular with the fans.
The only thing I don't like about shady's pre McDaniels and tyreke hill argument is that this doesn't take into account that Tua was still a young developing qb and he was playing for a coach that was a defensive guy. So I don't think he was getting the best out of tua.
Exactly, I was just thinking that. Yesterday she says he's next up & has to be top paid. But today she says don't go crazy over the numbers. Pick a side girl
Tua is gonna end up w a $40-45M/year guaranteed contract with a hefty signing bonus. He should definitely not play until he gets the contract, but he's too much of a leader for that so let's just find a win-win contract and move on to the other guys we need to sign

I love Tua he’s a good quarterback 🧡🩵💯🐬
Can you win a SB with Tua after you have to get rid of good players because you can’t pay them? He is good no doubt but is he THAT GOOD?
Every qb in the league is a good quarterback then 😂
I hate when people speak on things they don't know about.
1. Tua was supposed to redshirt his rookie season cause he was coming off that nasty hip injury.
2. He had no receivers running backs or offensive his first year, and a rookie jaylen Waddle his 2nd.
3. His coach hated him, which is why he's not there anymore.
4. He played every game last year, so he was healthy
5. Tua has gotten better every year
I'm not a Tua stan, I wish we would've gotten Lamar over Minkah in the draft, but give Tua credit.
Why would the dolphins pay tua that much when a rookie or fa QB can win with this roster.
@@MrBalockaye That's my point of why Tua should accept that right away, if offered. Lol
@@MrBalockaye do you remember our record without Tua. We can't win.
@@emmanueldean8822 I can’t remember 1 win where I’ve thought wow if we didn’t have Tua… while there’s a ton of losses I’ve thought, if we just didn’t have Tua…

He went at Hurts kinda harshly 😭 but it was accurate bruh was trash until year 3
No he didnt, he further proved he's a brain dead hypocrite
Not really

@@moe8599yeah and had a heisman at Wr1. So that was irrelevant lol.
Joy looking irresistible😊
Meh she looked better before she started trying to look like a white woman
Lol in the Playoff game that they are bashing Tua for Mahomes also looked like garbage but he was playing against a fully injured defense while Tua had to play against a top 2 defense. The conditions just weren’t good for football overall. The score looked bad 26-7 but the actual product was terrible, from both teams. We just forgot how Mahomes looked because they eventually went on to win the Super Bowl but that boy was 23-41, 266 yards, 1 TD. Tua was 19-39, 199 yards and 1 TD. Be so real dawg.
It's not just the Chiefs game though, Tua stats against good teams or in the cold are bad.
@@theliverpoolking2259 blaming the WR is crazy 😭 reek was almost a mvp last year nobody thought Tua as
Mahomes was not garbage. He was moving the ball up and down the field all game and put up 300 yards of offense if you include his 41 rushing yards. He got his team into field goal range all game and it was enough to win cause Tua was significantly worse literally not generating any offense
Tua struggled vs teams over .500 last year
Team sport
what about the year before?
Who knew he played defense and punt coverage..
@princecheck11 another losing record against good teams when he actually played
@@StephenNatoli-l6j only lost to the Bills and 49ers that had winning records..
if you are getting rid of Tua, who are you getting in return? he’s gonna get picked up by a desperate organization and probably win with him too. name all the QBs before Tua, a bunch of bums. only a few QBs in this year’s upcoming draft will be franchise QBs
1. Tua needs to be glad he has a job and not ask for so much money that others won’t be able to get. think about your teammates.
2. The Dolphins proving why they are currently a poverty franchise
Love Tua, but i think he shouldnt expect a large payment. Also Tua had one season without Waddle and it was his rookie year
Tua will get paid. I don't think he should hold out for what it's worth.
If Tua isn't paid and he plays, every good game he gets (and we know how good the Dolphins are in the first half of the season) will increase that value
Having injury history is even more reason to maximize your money smh these talking heads trippin
Not if the organization doesn't like you like that..take the max you can get but don't get greedy
Shady is a hater. Josh Allen was trash until 14 showed up. Herbert got numbers early but not wins. Burrow had one good year with Chase and company. Go roll Tua's tape before Tyreek he's still accurate, didn't throw many picks and won games.
They literally tried to trade tua. Can’t say that about the others
@@boltgang6192 they or Flores? They never actually attempted to trade him. The owner wanted to win a SB now and tried to get Brady but never actually attempted to trade Tua.
I love it when people count other people's pockets hopefully when McCoy comes up for his next contract at speak I hope they make him take less money I know he'll be glad to do it
Tua will win Superbowl watch
Shady always against players getting payed Tua, Justin Herbert,Dak
I agree 💯.
Yeah, because none of those three deserve massive extensions
0:35 while I don’t think Tua should be overpaid, I also think it’s such a paradoxical argument to say a QB isn’t good because they have weapons. Thats the point of team building and player development
True. And the characteristic of a promising QB is precisely to thrive WITH weapons.
Majority of the players in that offense his first 2 years aren’t even in the league anymore
Why is Acho alway jocking McCoy? We all know Shady's resume, dont need it repeated every show 😂
I noticed that Tua gets alot of criticism. I expect the sane for herbert, zack Wilson, kirk cousins. I can go on.
You're 100% right. But no, Cousins is deemed "a great businessman". Herbert is stamped "a franchise QB" (whatever that means).
@jeanfourcade cousins also puts up good numbers, and has never had a good defense, Herbert has yet to have a good coach, so he tends to get passes which will end this year
And Zack Wilson gets criticized and called one of the worst qbs every timed he's mentioned
@@StephenNatoli-l6j Cousins is on par with Tua, but gets far less flak. As for Herbert, I must admit he looks absolutely great. But those next 2years under Harbaugh will be make or break years for his status of star or fake.
@@jeanfourcade except he puts up far better numbers, wins more games, gets hurt less, has a worse team around him, and has actually won a playoff game
Can't pay him top money...just get a reliable backup quarterback and hope we can squeeze into the play-offs
Nobody is saying Tua shouldnt get paid....they saying he should get Cousins type money...not Mahones type money
Exactly. He’s one of the only quarterbacks who isn’t considered the best player on the team
They sound like they are talking about Dak, except they allllll wanted Dak to get paid. Same complaints about play on the field though
The games played to win games. Tuas Won games even on bad teams, Shady don't know what he talkin about. Also Tua showed more processing before McDaniel got there. These guys sooo clueless. Tua had nothing to work with and 4 different Offensive coordinators before McDaniel got there.
Never heard them talk about Justin Herbert taking chargers to the super bowl 😂
Coaching or lack of Coaching is a factor as well. Other teams have good receivers to help QB's perform. The O-Line is also a factor in performance.
Shady is a Hurt guy and will always hate Tua. Tua wasn't great his first two years, but with no weapons and a head coach who did not help develop him, he still had winning seasons. No matter what, Shady will always bring up topics to serve his own narrative.
People forget they fired Brian Flores because he didnt want to break rules and he didn't want Tua.
Tua is so much better than Hurts!!! Just ask Saban!!!!
Dak went 13-3 in his rookie year, Acho said only Patrick and Lamar had great rookie years, how do these people get on TV 📺 distorting the facts every day
Think Zeke had 1700 rushing yards g like he went absolutely crazy
They said pat n jackson plays well without number 1 receivers bro
He said only Pat & LJ can overcome bad offense...Dak had the #1 OLine, #1 RB he wasn't alone
He said Without top help … Dak had Zeke and all pro Dez Bryant but I don’t know why he put Mahomes in there, they were good before him
Yea Patrick was behind aalex Smith in his rookie year.. but Dak had probably the best team out of the three.
With due respect. McCoy wasn't all that to be talking about others. You had 6 1000 yd seasons, but only had 2 seasons with double digit rushing TDs.
@contentm3893 Breh. Wtf you talking about guy, Tua put the ball on the spot on the money all year!
@@contentm3893just proved you dk what you talkin about

This could cost us 60mil per year… let’s play him then tag him for 38 million…hahah
Just a dumb comment. How did Hurts get the team to the playoffs if he was "downright awful without Brown"??? 🙄
They left out two many things that went against the young man like 3 different offensive coordinators that's 3 different offensive systems
With those weapons they can bring in Tannehlll and do just as well. Maybe better.
11:40 Finally somebody said it. I LOVED Flores. Black coach! I wanted to support him but he wasn't the best fit here. Tua was always good
Shady just lost a friend vehemently bashing his neighbor. Acho was making his points with facts, and it just enraged this guy.
Why pay ahead on an uncertain injury future. Man is not fifty million a year. Sitting out of everything till season start is a recipe to get injured
He not that dude
Josh had 29 total TDs in his second season and made the playoffs at 10-6 then had an MVP caliber season in his third year and went to the AFC championship Acho has no idea what he's talking about as usual...
Tua literally played games without tyreek last year did he not? lol
The Tua hate is getting out of control...yall got to stop!!!! Led The League In Passing!!!!!
He hasn't won anything, he doesn't deserve a max contract!!!!!
Now maybe 35 million a year would be good for him
@@DaGreat52Like more than half of the QBs that are getting paid big money. I heard Trevor Lawrence is about to get like 50 million dollars a year and he only has 1 playoff win.
Sam Howell was also leading at one point. Now, he's a QB2 in Seattle.
He’s average
Did Herburt deserve the money he got???@@DaGreat52
All I know is I’ve been a fan since Marino. Had to live thru Cleo lemon, John beck, Matt Moore , ray lucas, Aj freaking feely! Tua the best since Marino. Pay that man. Fins up!
Tua is in a good system with lots of weapons. Leverage is a tricky thing.
Why does everyone forget Coach Flores didn’t want Tua so he didn’t play Tua then the GM tried to get Sean Payton and Tom Brady that fell through they get a new coach and Tyreek and Tua been ballin ever since
"put another qb in there" lets see how did they do when teddy 2 gloves and skylar started?
Skylar finished the job Tua couldn't finish (straight losses to SF and GB) in 2022.
Lamar did, won MVP and it worked out for him..
@buckwyld218 and choked when it mattered. They had the most talented team last year and couldn’t pulled through.
Shady is the master of the evolving argument. lol..
Tua 32-19 as a starter, 8 game winning drives. Tua was more of a comeback artist in his early years, he's lost it lately I feel because of Mcdaniels complicated offense he has to think more. Hopefully he loses the playsheet wristband and calls his own plays this year
More James!!
Tua had prove that he can roll with the best of them .
Every QB is a system QB. Some can carry a team to wins with talent, but without the right team around them and a system that fits their game they will fail. Tua has all that on offense.
Get ya money, we the fans, so loyalty is our job.
That’s not fair to throw Burrow in there to say he wasn’t a really good QB before he got Chase. It’s imperative that you emphasize that Burrow was hurt that year. We DID NOT QUESTION Burrow’s ability! Not the same!
"Josh Allen was not good his first 3 seasons" By his 3rd season he was 2nd in MVP voting.
Shady forgets tua got waddle in 2021 and improved
Sometimes with a contract it’s more about the business and fans. Teams just with to sell march, tickets, get TV times maybe get a home playoff game, some of these players are popular with the fans.
49ers have a great system that makes QBs look good and I have a feeling that's how Miami is
“Everybody get your money, we happy for you”….except Daniel Jones. For him we protest every chance we get. “He does not deserve to get his money”
You’re concerned about “how they play the game around him…”?? What about how HE plays??
The only thing I don't like about shady's pre McDaniels and tyreke hill argument is that this doesn't take into account that Tua was still a young developing qb and he was playing for a coach that was a defensive guy. So I don't think he was getting the best out of tua.
Acho stay givin shady his props 😂
Well according to Joy's logic JUS YESTERDAY. He should get paid. He's the next one up
Exactly, I was just thinking that. Yesterday she says he's next up & has to be top paid. But today she says don't go crazy over the numbers. Pick a side girl
Explorer options...is smart
The carpeting that Nick does for Lawrence is wild especially compared to how he approaches someone like Hurts.
Tua is gonna end up w a $40-45M/year guaranteed contract with a hefty signing bonus. He should definitely not play until he gets the contract, but he's too much of a leader for that so let's just find a win-win contract and move on to the other guys we need to sign
When it comes to the bills Josh Allen, chiefs Andy Reid, the eagles Jalen he is very very EMOTIONAL
Tom Brady didn't push for the biggest contract, he's the example. Look what's happened to guys who get huge contracts.
Great WR and hopefully a much better Oline and key piece to work with let not forget RB set that to match I really think he will grow Give him Quarter of what he asking makes second round of playoffs pay him
Don't matter Shady Tua will want top QB money, that means he will be the highest paid QB until the next QB signs.
U sound crazy lol If dolphins do that they're crazy
