thank you so much for making this videos, we certainly need more awareness of this type of audio systems. Congrats and keep making ed tutorials, God bless u brother
So, if you're using one VCO there isn't really much of a difference in the two signal chains you described, its just if you want to turn down/up the VCO before the filter or after the filter. But normally if you are going to be combining signal/ mixing them down into a VCA or a mixer, going from 2-4 VCOs -> VCA -> VCF will allow you to use one filter on the mixed down signal containing all the VCOs. But maybe you just want to put a filter on a single VCO before you mix all the signals down into your VCA/mixer which would be an instance of VCO -> VCF -> VCA. So its really just dependent on what you want to do with the signal flow in your modular rig. Hope this answered your question!
@@swelteringswine Hi, thanks a lot for your reply! I see it will make some difference when there will be more sound sources. My way "normaly" is using a mixer between VCO/Noice etc. and VCF and then going to to VCA and OUT. I'm just in the beginning and I think my next step will be using multi voices in the modular. Right now it all goes to the DAW as single voices. Greetings from Northern Germany!

that was wonderful. you are a funny good teacher
yeah please dont stop these im a fan
Thank you!!!! I’m gonna make another one soon!
Is there any difference between:
a) VCO -> VCA -> VCF -> Out
b) VCO -> VCF -> VCA -> Out ?
