    I am so grateful that you have the power and faith to go there. I choose your sermons and your interviews to be challenged. You are absolutely right. God calls all people to be students of his word, less to lead, and even less to speak so powerfully and somehow you do it on so many topics that shouldn’t be controversial, but are. The way you speak helps to make room inside a Christianity I can actually co-sign, a Christianity I used to shy away from for the rampant hypocrisy and this redefines that for me. Thank you. More leaders like this please God!

    This needs to heard all over in every church, everywhere else too!!!
    She is so right about standing up and having a voice in this world ... we Christians need to stand up and show the world how we are supposed to live, not shake our heads in silence as if we don’t have a mighty God that gave us the way!!! We cannot just continue to be quiet when there is injustice, these are our brothers and sisters!!! speak up against inequality, work against inclusivity help to mend and heal the brokenness of this world... I pray we put down all these other labels that will all pass away with time and I pray that we honor God above all else while appreciating and celebrating each other regardless of culture/race/gender/class

      Nope, your message has nothing to do with Jesus, notice how you didnt even mention him in your entire rant. You just want to be loved by the world that why you are so eager to preach the world's message. But that isn't the Gospel, that's just a false woke-righteousness.

    Authentic peace hasn’t been achieved in our churches because they are full of inauthentic people. Christian people will perish for lack of knowledge. The world is ingrained in them and have become like the world. Only truly submitting ourselves to the sacrifice of our Lord through his grace will change come.

    Here’s a solution to the problem described in this video. Preach, and Teach the true Gospel of Jesus Christ in our Christian churches, in our families, among our neighbors, in our neighborhoods, out on the streets, in the hood, in the affluent neighborhoods, basically the highways and byways preach Christ crucified and risen from the dead, and those who respond and believe will be saved and changed. And we will experience revival across our land. Here’s the kicker: it’s not just white Christians responsible for communicating God’s Gospel, it’s every single Christian’s duty no matter what your skin color is. Guess what? We’ll start seeing positive changes in our society. But evil will NEVER be eradicated out of this earth until Jesus returns and sets up His eternal Kingdom. Our problem is each person living on this earth, not pointing our finger at another or another ethnic group-sin is universal and onlyJesus Christ can make a person new with a new heart inside.
    Don’t be duped by the lie that there are culprits and victims, the fact is: we’re ALL sinfully wicked with a depraved heart until Jesus makes us NEW.

    • @annlowry9841
      @annlowry9841 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Has that worked this far??

    • @Lisa-ty5xw
      @Lisa-ty5xw 5 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Something to add, the victims in our society are not altogether victims, that’s satan’s lie. The Bible says we’re ALL guilty before a Holy God and deserve His eternal wrath on ourselves, even the “so called” victims in our society. Everyone is commanded by Jesus Christ to repent of their sins and believe the Gospel, so they can be made new on the inside of their heart. Then maybe their focus won’t be their own selves and how “unfair” this temporary life on earth has been to them. Instead their focus will be to be a servant and slave of the Lord Jesus Christ, just like the Apostle Paul did!

      What matters is not how something is working on our own behalf, but that God’s perfect will be done, not OUR own SELFISH will, that Christ would be glorified through the believer’s life! That means every believer die to themselves, pick up the cross and FOLLOW Jesus, and stop listening to the world’s hopeless wisdom that is NO WISDOM AT ALL! God’s wisdom is you go and be a servant to God, and the last thing you should be thinking is “how someone else needs to serve ME.

      I understand and agree with most of what you're saying but what is the following about..."Here’s the kicker: it’s not just white Christians responsible for communicating God’s Gospel, it’s every single Christian’s duty no matter what your skin color is."
      Who is depending on white people let alone white Christians to teach them anything if they are not white and/or not raised by/around whites. I've never depended on a white person to do anything for me. I'm confused with your statement.

    “The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent, because he has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed; and of this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead."”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭17:30-31‬ ‭ESV‬‬
    “However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me-the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭20:24‬ ‭NIV‬‬
    “Are they servants of Christ? I am a better one-I am talking like a madman-with far greater labors, far more imprisonments, with countless beatings, and often near death. Five times I received at the hands of the Jews the forty lashes less one. Three times I was beaten with rods. Once I was stoned. Three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I was adrift at sea; on frequent journeys, in danger from rivers, danger from robbers, danger from my own people, danger from Gentiles, danger in the city, danger in the wilderness, danger at sea, danger from false brothers; in toil and hardship, through many a sleepless night, in hunger and thirst, often without food, in cold and exposure. And, apart from other things, there is the daily pressure on me of my anxiety for all the churches. Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is made to fall, and I am not indignant? If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness.”
    ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭11:23-30‬ ‭ESV‬‬
    “I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel- not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed. For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.”
    ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭1:6-10‬ ‭ESV‬‬
    These scriptures come from the Apostle Paul and should be the norm for a true follower of Jesus Christ. This woman, Mrs Perry, on this video is preaching a different Gospel that’s basically about self-fulfillment instead of dying to self, picking up your cross, and following Jesus Christ. Ask God to give you His wisdom, NOT the world’s wisdom!!!

      she said diversity is the heart of the gospel. no its not. its sounds nice and poetical but its Biblically inaccurate. The heart of the gospel is Jesus Christ who died, buried, and rose again to save sinners.
      and then i pointed out regardless of what anyone thinks, all tribes and tongues (diverse ethinic background) will be in the Kingdom of God. naww mean?

    • @Lil08103
      @Lil08103 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@BibleSamurai actually, there are a couple things, not a single thing, at the heart of the gospel. God's gift of salvation is obviously first but how else might ppl learn of this gift without the mandate to share the good news. salvation and evangelism are both at the heart. And while i dont love the term "gospel diversity", it gets at something very important: to share the gospel to all ppl throughout all the lands, not just ppl who look like you in your zip code, tax bracket, and political party. the reality that churches are the most segregated institutions in our country cannot be in sync with the gospel of jesus christ.

    We belong to God, not politicians and money. Did you know the San people in South-Africa, they were equals amongst themselves, no ruling over each other. They looked after their neighbour's and did not waste food or any part of the animal they hunted sometimes and would walk for days on end for food. They water supply wasn't streams of fresh water but came from roots of plants and dew drops from leaves. God gave them what they needed, and they were satisfied and happy. Until money came and corrupted them. A kingdom called Mapungungwe was an old kingdom from around 1200 that mined gold and was given to the Kings that put themselves on hills and 'ordinary' people below. They believed they were closer to their ancestors on a hill and had more privilege and started trading their gold for other beautiful things. They were a ruling class system. We barted for services and goods but later money and greed became the ruler.

      I don't believe she's diversifying the gospel, can't be done!The concept I got was all race sharing the gospel as one race and not just who we look similar to. It is quite obvious that we live by the same bible but yet divided by our differences. Seems a bit hypocritical. Also, seeing each as one as Christ sees us and teaching our children this manor would put an end to racial injustice. She had some powerful points, well studied.

      citing scriptures without context is dangerous. ppl who quote this scripture dont effectively study the word. the book of timothy is a letter from paul to timothy for guidance on building up the ppl timothy's pastoring. in that context, women sat in the back of the church while men were in the front. b/c they couldn't hear literally, they began shouting in the middle of the sevice questioning their husbands about what was being said. to establish order in the church paul gave instruction for the women to be quiet and discuss the service with their husbands after. there are plenty other scriptures where God specifically used women to minister, so the theory a women shouldn't be in the pulpit comes from willfill ignorance and a kind of patriarchy not ordained by text.

      @@Lil08103 People who do not like the Word always says it's because of the context. Women sat in the back? How in the world do you know that? Let me tell you what this is - it is plain rebellion and adaptation to the times we live in and a rebellion to Gods biblical ORDER.

    Honest question from South America where we all are mixed race; what is gospel diversity?

    • @Lil08103
      @Lil08103 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      south america isn't the mixed race utopia you all like to believe. i'm blk american but have spent yrs traveling to south america learning about the indigenous and afro-latinos in colombia, ecuador and other countries. there is definitely a need for reconciliation and uplift of oppressed grps there. it certainly would look different than here in the u.s. where there are fixed racial categories, but it's still necessary.

    Most of your messages I follow. The ones I listened to have been very scripturally based and very anointed. Always gospel and Christ centered but this one doesn't make sense.
    All races are welcomed in any church that I am aware of. But why all the diversity? Because we all worship differently. Different groups prefer different styles of worship. I love that we live in a country that you can find a church that fits they way you like to worship. As long as the preach gospel and Jesus Christ the risen savior .

      I went to a conference not to long ago. Predominantly white. Different churches from the valley came but we were really divided. We all hangout with who we came with. It was divided by church. We gotta stop focusing on race because that is not a issue ,well not where I live. I asked some of my friends that are from different ethnic back grounds and I asked if I was just blind or ignorant of it. My friend who is Hispanic said they are only harassed by other Hispanics. They say they're not Hispanic enough.

      She's referring to racial unity. If there weren't still separation then there wouldn't be such division amongst believers when race, politics or status come into play.

    Another false Christian speaking like the world..... and the sinner loves it. Jesus never came to save diversity, he came to destroy the works of satan and set people free from sin. Modern christianity is on the wide road to Perdition. Empty words of Foolishness. Repent and obey Christ faithfully by love and purity the sin out of your hearts. Nobody gets saved in sin. Sin is the problem.

    "Gospel Diversity" is not a term used anywhere in the Bible (not the mention it is a completely non-sensical phrase: "Good News Diversity"... ???). Diversity is not a biblical principle -- UNITY is a biblical principle. The world wants us to constantly focus on diversity and our differences. God wants us to focus on our UNITY in Him. It's correct to say that the Church is made of all people of all colors and that come from different nation states, and that believers should accept and celebrate that because it shows God's ability and power to unify all of us as one body IN SPITE OF of diversity/differences that the world keeps focusing on. But that's not her message -- she wants to chastise and shame white people for not embracing worldly values.
    These issues of police brutality and school shootings are in their very nature World/Kingdom of Satan problems -- schools and the policy force are tools are the government, which is the maybe the most powerful system used in the Kingdom of Satan. And since the school system and police force belong to the Kingdom of Satan, it is NOT the Church's responsibility to "reform" them because the government literally CANNOT be reformed due to the fact that it is evil by it's very nature. They are organizations with the very intent to oppose to God's order -- are you surprised that there are major issues there?!? Political protesting is literally giving legitimacy to the Kingdom of Satan, as you are saying that it is something worth trying to engage with and change. That goes directly against God's order to be in the world, but not OF the world.
    Jackie calls the youth "A generation that God has brought up for Himself". No, God did not ordain Generation Z as a special or chosen generation. God's people -- belivers, spiritual Israel -- are God's people. The New Testament makes it very clear that believers are to look to elders to lead the church -- but Jackie tells us to look to non-believing young people (??) The kids/people who Jackie sites as being examples to the Church and people who are deserving of support -- the Parkland, FL students and other youth involved in the "gun control" marches, Colin Kaepernick, etc. -- are self-promoting and wordly. They do not glorify Jesus nor the Gospel. Do not worship at the feet of these false idols, Jackie.
    I've noticed that this odd, faux-hyperventilating speech pattern has become popular with young, black American orators who speak on issues of justice -- given how anti-biblical this message was and the deeply worldly "social justice" theme, I'm really wondering if there is a specific evil spirit behind this movement (?!?)
    Lastly, Timothy 2:12 - "But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet". On top of the message itself being unbiblical, Jackie does not have biblical authority to direct the crowd that includes male believers on any matters, given that she is female. This very act is rebellion to God's order and design for the Church.

      Though I agree with most of what Mrs. Perry-Hill shared, I also agree that "Gospel Diversity" is a made up term and advocate that, as believers, we also be critical thinkers...even of those whom we respect; because at the end of the day you gotta stand before God yourself, not before Billy Graham, Pastor Piper or Jackie Hill. However, I disagree with JustSome Chick's proposal that the Bible does not emphasize diversity. In both function and culture, the Bible explicitly advocates for us to embrace (and expect) differences/diversity: 1 Cor 12:4-28; Rom 12:4 & 6-8; Rev 7:9. I think you gotta be careful to not mistake "Unity" for "Homogeneity;" the terms are not synonymous.
      The miracle will be for Jesus' prayer to actually come true: that we (the Church) be one and love one another in a way that provokes the world. And to do so not only *despite* our differences but, maybe more importantly, in a manner that genuinely *honors* our differences in a way that the world cannot emulate, because they don't share the Spirit of God.
