I live in the states where the Hero Arm just recently became available. I'm extremely fortunate to have one (I was born without a left hand) and although I've only had it a couple short weeks, it has absolutely changed my life!
Ive been following you guys from the start, once i found your youtube and saw all that you guys are doing to help people and make the world a little better i was very happy to be alive in this day and age. One of these days i hope to be on par with you guys, but i am barely starting that journey, you guys are an inspiration.
@And i Oop MonstaxBts He has a point. And you have an overused internet cliche. God has already blessed her with meningitis. Oh wait, he doesn't exist. Next.
@@Unknown_chick I am sure, you could defenitely drive with these arms, apart of that, there are alot of automatic geared cars, not mentioning electric cars, so its gonna be super easy.
The only thing it needs is to add them ability to send the tactile signals to brain, so the person can feel the touch, the texture with these hands, just like with the skin - and then it will be perfect!
D K-sky I was just watching a video last night, a last was trying the first arm ever that is capable of doing that. It was amazing. She could grab something with her eyes closed and know exactly when she closed her fingers on it,and she said it was the first time she felt a handshake in however many years since she lost her hand. It really was incredible, and maybe by the time this girl physically outgrows this arm that type will be next for her and so many others.

Real life Minnow Bly! Not to compare Tilly to fantasy, of course. It's her determination, beauty and strenght. It's very difficult to achieve this level of control, yet her accomplishments are remarkable! Tilly, if you read this by any chance: know that I would love to have more people like you around us, not because you're an amputee - I don't care about that. Is that you pushed yourself forward so far that now you seem to give other people the same amount of support as you once needed. You're blossoming and you didn't let your obstacles define you. Thank you!
Tilly, I really hope you learn Fusion 360 and you get your hands on a 3D printer because if you do those hands will just be the start. Imagine modifying them so that you get wrists with yaw, tilt and rotation. Imagine Iron Man for real. It's totally do-able and you could do it. I know you have other medical problems but being able to engineer your body will be amazing.
Dude, she wants to be able body, not Iron Man... And she is almost completely independent. All my disabled colleagues are really pissed off if someone thinks they are superheros, for real... She told it as a joke. But you took it even further and basically told her "your arms are not _normal_ enough, so I won't treat you like a normal woman, but I can treat you as a super hero, so you should upgrade yourself." You even assumed she has other problems, which she does NOT, Meningitis isn't life-long disease. You're a kiddo, aren't you? Well, then just learn from this mistake. If you'd loose your limb and go through all the horror, all you would like to have back is your independence. She got it back, and you're suggesting she can be better. No. She's perfect.
PS. What you're saying is pure fantasy, not possible. Comics aren't real. Every movement of artificial hands is controlled by what she has left from forearm muscles, one mistake and movement changes. It takes looong time to not get mixed up and to learn chronological order of movements for the whole sequence. On top of that, muscles get tired and available movements are limited by amount of working muscle tissue you have left. Even having most of your muscles leaves you with limited number of movements, just check on your arm how many muscles you control from elbow to wrist, without using muscles connected to your hand. What Tilly has done is amazing, very hard work and determination.

Bro I just got approved by my insurance company for the Hero Arm. I dont have my right hand, how has it changed life for you so far!?

You can do Great things. Set your goals, learn all you can. Make your dreams come true.
Best of luck to you.
You Can do it.
Absolutely fantastic, god bless you sweetheart, enjoy your new arm's and enjoy your independents. Such a miracle 😀
Yea god bless. God who let this person suffer.
And what a miracle, achieved by scientists.

Amazing. A company making a big difference!
Been following this for a couple years and it still amazes me.... beyond amazing
At first I was like "oh that is cool, she is driving with her bionic arms" then I was like "Oh, its just England"
You can drive without arms, she's too young anyway... Everything she did was remarkable.

Молодцы те кто создают такие протезы . Дают шанс людям жить полноценной жизнью .
A true super hero 🦸♀️
She should tell people that she lost her arms in a lightsaber duel.
Or, she just got an upgrade.
1:55 the purpose of these hands are achieved. 👍😺

I believe that this girl and the many others like her out there are the first of their kind; the future of humanity: H+.
Is it waterproof?
It is rare to see someone so cute and kind as her...
Adoro voce parece um anjo
You are a All Star girl. 🐱🐈
If Ihad a arm like this Iwuld problably say to pepole in the street "pull my finger" I know that wil mot end well
Mükemmel
Can anyone tell me why can't she properly walk?
The meningitis affected her "legs mobility," and she lost the toes too.😢
@@gimabihc2854 sad. But on the plus side she has learnt to dance.
One of her legs stopped growing but iirc she said its fixable

@@Unknown_chick you've just gotten very unnecessarily pissed at a person over the internet, congrats
Elon Musk is looking for Mars, but there is some stuff to improve here before useless things.
Why ruin that beautiful face with makeup??
Let the child do whatever makes her happy.
