Congratulations Brad. You have a lot of work ahead, maybe you could bribe the orchid group to help you :) We move from Vancouver Island to Northern Alberta last summer and my poor orchids are still trying to recover. I wish you lots of fun in this new adventure.
Congratulations on your new house, very exciting! Can't wait to see videos on your move. I'm sure everything is going to be great! Also I'm excited about your little farm animals. Thanks for sharing and good luck with the move.
Alabama Gulf Coast. Owning an Orchid garden center is my dream. I built my growspace as well. No goats. A van. Moving truck is not a good idea to move plants in winter. The back of the truck is not heated. A van is heated in the load space.
Wow Brad! Really big news! Watching from Newfoundland and Labrador. Been watching since before your current greenhouse. I can’t imagine having to move everything. What will you do with the koi pond? Are the koi going as well? Congratulations and best of luck in the newest chapter of Brad’s Greenhouse!!
Hello Brad!! I have watched your channel from a long time ago now, like 5 or 6 years ago but not making to much comments. I lost track of the channel the last years and when I started again I didn’t know this was happening so I’m very happy and enjoying the new videos, the new location and more you are showing, it’s soo wonderful and a dream to any carnivorous plant grower. Greetings from Guanajuato, Mexico my friend and I’ll be waiting from new videos and tours, projects, etc
Woooo hooooo, a plant farm! Contralutions, of course you're excited, who wouldn't be!!! Invitation accepted and I can't wait to see the new place. My partner and I are looking for something, although it will be on a much smaller scale than yours because property prices in the southern half of the UK in particular are ridiculous. I want space for something much bigger than my current 6ft x 8ft greenhouse, and higher too because I can't hang anything without having to crawl under it (and I'm only 5ft 3ins).
This is very exciting for you and your family. Your wife sounds like my kind of person, I have chickens. I would recommend silkies if she wants a good broody momma for future generations of chickens. A great gentle breed are the Orringtons. They come in many colours and even the roosters are gentle. As for the greenhouse, just don't put one over the septic and weeping bed. Believe me, if something goes wrong it's more trouble than it's worth. Take care - Marcie
I knew about the move because I look at your website. Congrats on finally finding a place. I know all about how hard it is to get a house because it's not just a simple agreement between buyer and seller. I've both bought and sold houses and it is annoying. That's great you found a big property. That's always been my dream to have big land away from everyone. No neighbors for miles. And I dream of individual greenhouses too like that for different plant types. Chickens are great. Feel free to ask me advice. I've raised them and have lots of bird experiences. Farms are both for plants and animals so you can call it a farm too. Crops can be farmed. I know you're busy with all this but I did send you an email a while ago just so you know. I look forward to videos of the new place. Can't wait to see it even before you build on it. I watched you build your first garden so I look forward to this new beginning.
WOW this is so exciting Brad, and we are so looking forward to following you on your journey moving house when we have so many plants and moving the greenhouses etc is a real challenge and stressful but it will be so exciting too, and you will have even more space for your outstanding plant collection :-D we are going to be moving house too this year as we need more space for our polytunnel and our indoor plants, we have over 2,000 plants mostly cacti haha and some over 7 feet tall and very spiny, its going to be fun and games for us too, so looking forward to hearing all about it, I am watching from Northern Ireland, thanks so mcuh for the update Brad and sending you lots of Good Luck and love and happiness and of course PLANT POWER from across the Emerald Isle for a wonderful plant, greenhouses and house move XXXX
Hi Brad, Congratulations on your upcoming move. Your videos helped to me in start my Nursery south of you near Cowichan Bay. I look forward to more videos and watching you set up your new greenhouses.
Congratulations on your new adventure! I'm looking forward to seeing how things progress. Thanks for sharing. I've enjoyed your videos. Sue, in Florida
Congratulations Brad. Happy for you . Looking forward to seeing the new property/greenhouses. :D . Meanwhile my goal is to have a greenhouse like your current one. Haha. :D
Wow! What a big adventure. I’m guessing you’re tearing yourself away from that phenomenal view you have there! I’m not sure I could do that. But the new place was sounds perfect for your plans. Good luck with it all! PS watching from the UK 🇬🇧

I forgot i was subscribed to you and i saw how many subscribers you have gotten.. i think you were like at 90k or less when i first saw your channel, good job
Brad , you need to do a farewell video of the garden , as you know I’ve been following you since 2012 and seen your garden and greenhouse expand , can’t wait to see you in the new place , imagine growing that giant red banana to its full potential and the brugmansia
Congrats Brad ! If you create an entire Greenhous devoted to Venus Fly Traps.. you'll have room for a Amorphophallus titanium as it's center piece keeping all the plants well fed :) Hmm The theme song to "Green Acres" comes to mind. ha
Hey Brad, I can't wait to see your new greenhouse set-up. I'm in Alberta 3 hrs north of Edmonton. I was wondering how cool do you keep your cool side of your greenhouse in winter and then in summer how cool can you manage to keep it? Plus how warm do you keep the warm side of your greenhouse both in winter and summer? I am planning to get a greenhouse soon hopefully, and I live at our home on one of Alberta's lakes in zone 3...lol Winter can get as low as -42 in winter and as warm as +32 in summer.
I will have to watch from the beginning. We've got a storm coming here and it's messing with my Internet 😗. Good luck... From what I've managed to hear, it sounds exciting 😊.
When we moved my dad made be get rid of most of my plants because we couldn't fit them anywhere in the moving van or car my mom hid some of them in her suitcase because I was only allowed to take 6 plants and my mom really wants me keep buying plants because she likes them and she likes looking at them so instead of taking six I took 13😂 and my dad never noticed
Congratulations on your new adventure! Chickens are super fun, but will eat plants, so you’ll maybe want to build them a run to contain them. Have fun, sounds like an awesome property! Are you staying in BC?

Hi Brad. Just checking in from the UK 😊.
Hello!
Congratulations on your new adventure! Chickens are super fun, but will eat plants, so you’ll maybe want to build them a run to contain them. Have fun, sounds like an awesome property! Are you staying in BC?
Yes the chickens won't be lose, their is already a big coop there. Im staying in C yes. Same city
Brads Greenhouse & Gardening awesome! I miss my chickens sooo much. Get some coloured egg layers, Easter eggers and black copper marans if you can find them 🥰
You might want to look into renting a plant nursery truck. Such as how commercial nurseries get their deliveries.....just a thought. 🌿🌼🌷🌱
I'm going to be moving too.
Let us know how you do it!
will do, Good luck yourself!
aw I liked you being in Canada
Im staying in Canada, I'm like 25 minute down the road from my current location

Hello Brad good night for you
good night!
What is the weakest led groow lamp that can be used for indoor cultivation?
to hard to say. 10Watts maybe but it depends on what your growing
Congratulations from New Jersey! I will be setting up an indoor grow area soon too. Will you be telling us details of the lighting you will be using?
Thanks! I will yes.
what about the outside plants and the koi pond? i've been watching you since before this greenhouse and it's nice to see you are going to expand
Sadly, everything in the ground will be staying. The New place doesn't have a Pond....yet
@@BradsGreenhouse so what's going to happen to the koi and the turtle in the meantime
Are you still in zone 8b?
Banana Boxes
Are you still going to be in Duncan.?

I don't envy you moving all of them! It was bad enough moving my collection.
