- "Diggi-Loo Diggi-Ley" was the winning song in the Eurovision Song Contest 1984 performed in Swedish by the trio of brothers Herrey's, representing Sweden. Lyrics were written by Britt Lindeborg, and the tune by Torgny Söderberg. It was produced by Anders Engberg and Torgny Söderberg.
The Eurovision Song Contest 1984, the 29th edition of the annual Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg, following the country's victory at the 1983 contest with the song "Si la vie est cadeau" by Corinne Hermes.
Nice up tempo tune from Herrey's, and you've gotta love the title too "Diggi-Loo Diggi-Ley"

@@thesquaredisc Awww I think the voting has stopped now. The BBC one might get be still open because they are copying Boom - they’ve lost a load of listeners. Tough… Boom are so much better. And there’s Boom light and Boom rock now too. Love them all 😍😍 lots of DJs I remember from local radio and Luxembourg days when I had my Tranny under my pillow at night 😎 xx

I’m struggling to get over this blooming Covid, I’m feeling rough as (at the time of typing out this message) I will probably not know the results and watch the re run on the following Saturday night so it feels the same as when I lived in the UK. But then again, I’ll probably not do that and watch it on the Sunday morning live!
I’m enjoying uploading Eurovision songs, I’ve got many more, I’ll have to make a Top 25 Eurovision Songs from my channel “Boom Bang A Bang” is out in front at the moment, though “Waterloo” is doing well too.
I’m getting through the back catalogue of music videos I had up on my original channel, still more on file, I am constantly working on new ones from videos though, so there’ll be a mixture going up now 😊
