Drew Smith u’re the one are stupid. A lot of vocalists are cappable of going low as low as D3-Eb3 witu neutral larynx and support like Jojo, Tori Kelly Jessie J low register is weak , with support down to A3/Bb3
A lot of crappy voice teachers who don't know shit about modern techniques say stuff like "you have to raise your larynx to belt", call belting "chest voice" and don't understand that while larynx moves a touch, even when speaking, neutral position means moving it only at speech level (hence the name), not depressing it with tongue and definitely not pulling it to the heavens above. Ever since bel canto, that inspired all the SLS, CVTs and whatnots we have now, vocalists started experimenting with more forward placement, making voice brighter throughout. The piercing sound projects very well above instrumentation and sounds more natural and free. As long as you're not singing outside your physical limits, there is no reason to Braxton your lows. Oh and adults don't really go from soprano to mezzo etc (whether from damage or age), every voice just gets richer and sets a little lower as it matures, but the passagio is not going anywhere. It's determined by the size and thickness of the vocal cords and they won't change that drastically on grown ups, If anything, I guess it could be a spinto becoming dramatic or light lyric growing full.

yeah, I can tell she took them and a lot of other great artists as an example, but now that the years have gone by she really has her own specific style of doing runs. Like when I hear someone singing I can tell they're doing the 'Jessie-runs'.

I should consider it a gift to be able to mix to an A5 though, but maybe even higher depending on the day (highest I have ever gone is a C).
