Someday when I am a better pilot, I will get an extreme flight plane though it will be one of the smaller versions as I have plenty of stuff in my stash to put in those. Your flying skills are rapidly improving
VERY VERY NICE! Great job! Sub'd and T-up on all of your videos! Question please. I want to go bigger from 60 size. I saw you fly the EF Edge 78" and this. Which do you like better and why? Do they fly that much different? Also, have you looked into the StinGR power plant.... Electric motor with reduction ( same as they do in helicopters). ? Thank you for your thoughtful answer!
Actually, my favorite size plane right now are the 67” EF and SW options. They present almost as well as larger planes in the sky. They’re SINGLE BATTERY which is really nice. And they’re a little easier to handle than the bigger 78”+ models.
I have a Pilot 78" Extra NG. I bought it when I couldn't get an Extreme Flight plane because of world wide shortages during covid. I use the same Sunnysky 40cc motor and it does great. The Pilot flies great and although I fly with 12S 4500 packs, I will guess your plane is still lighter. Do you know you all up weight?
@@RCVideoReviews I'd love a short video on why you have made the full switch over to ELRS...I find it super interesting and appreciate your perspective / opinion. I'm thinking of getting into ELRS as it seems to be more cutting edge than crossfire. 👍
So first video Ive seen on this. Looks great. I just ordered the blue one with a gp 38 gas motor. I hear the 78 ng is too heavy for the gas. Whats your take. Also is the plane big for a 78 nch or small presence
Even though I don't fly gas motors, I have it on very good authority the Gp38 isn't enough and going to a 21" prop bogs the engine enough to not get into the power band. As to presence: I guess that's a little subjective. Looked good to me :)
That is a very nice flying plane. Just beautiful. Good flying John. Great camera work Dave.
Thank you Bill. I look forward to getting comfortable with this plane and seeing just how much this plane can do.
👍🙂
It looks and flies fantastic, You can't go wrong no matter what you get from extreme flight.
I agree. They're all just really good with slightly different personalities.
This plane is my dream. But, unfortunately, only dream. Glad for you, Jon! And happy flying!👍🤝
Thanks for watching and leaving a comment.

The 60" planes are excellent. Get an Extra--they can fly sport and 3D exceptionally well.
Nice! Looks like it flys amazing!
Thanks. Agreed--it's an excellent plane.
Sweet plane nice maiden
Thanks Fred :)
I am on the list for the white, orange and blue one with the stars on the wings.
Xtreme flight planes are the best! I own 3 they are my favorites.
They really are excellent planes. I love 'em.

I didn't weigh this one. I've been interested in trying a Pilot plane.
That is a awesome looking/flying plane. That's a maiden. Nice flying. Hey Dave where is that Stearman? we want to see it fly again.
Hello I have some commitments before I can put some time on it but you will see it fly again and it'll fly great🙂
Yeah Dave! Where's the Stearman? I want to see it fly too.
Is there a build video on this model? I can't seem to find it on TH-cam. Thanks!
Not from me....
👍
what KV motor? 190 kv or 160
Nice! Do you still use crossfire or have you gone all ELRS ? Combo?
I'm all ELRS right now. I used the Matek R24D with a Matek CRSF-SBUS converted feeding an X10+

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll keep it in mind.
That rudder horn wire is not right. The cable is off.
Yeah, saw that and fixed it at the field. Good eye.
lol Im such a rookie. I still need to be behind the plane when doing surface direction checks.
As long as you get it right, that's all that matters :)
I hate the stupid wing tips.. And Kill's/lessens the Rudder Authority
The wingtips are easy enough to leave off if you don't like them.
