The story with the Call Girl getting vamped is the closest it ever gets to being halfway scary...though that still makes it only about as good as a budget-cut "Tales from the Crypt" episode.
And didn't The Simpsons already parody that idea in The Terror of Tiny Toon, with Bart and Lisa using a reality warping remote that brings Itchy and Scratchy out of the TV, who then try to kill them? Although, that was actually a parody of Stay Tuned.
I remember seeing the dvd cover as a young kid and being deeply mortified having nightmares about the guy with creepy mouth, only if I had seen this movie back, all my fears as a child would have vanished in a instant seeing the true mockery of a film.
"A 2002 Newgrounds animation!" You take that back, Newgrounds artists had more decency, creative integrity, and talent than whatever the fuck THAT intro was!

Except, do we ever see the hitcher in C2 attack anybody? He just seems to be trying to get in the car, while repeatedly thanking the lady for the ride. The driver is the one who decides to turn him into chunky mustard in response. She does end up dead, but we never see how. For all we know she stole his sign and then had a cardiac arrest from all the strenuous murderin'.
The opening sequence actually shows the quality of the movie a kid finds a cute lost puppy, if you really wanted to profit from it you whould take care of the dog and start breeding liters. Instead the kid/studio takes everything good away from the first films and yeah that our final product. A dissected dog made into a hotdog, I think they put that in there to show the audience how the movie was handled
In all fairness, Stephen King did once write a short story about a word processor where everything you type into it became reality, and THAT got adapted for an episode of "Tales of the Darkside". Maybe they were trying to rip off of that.
Scary Godmother isn't really that badly animated. They were trying to emulate a style that just didn't translate well into 3D, but it's far from the worst 3D animated films of that era.

How could you screw up a concept as simple as “TV remote that affects the real world!?” You know it’s bad when a children’s story/show, Goosebumps (Goosebumps did the concept before Adam Sandler, even down to having the exact same title), succeeds much better than a supposedly adult movie. Then again, I already unironically love Goosebumps anyway so it’s not much of a shock for me.

Why did the doctor make the remote and have it warp the girl's life before turning her into a rabbit? Why did a radio convince a man to steal and kill then do the same to two other people? Why did the two students of the professor jump to the assumption the bride was a robot and pull her to pieces despite CLEARLY seeing she was flesh and blood? And why did the hotdog ghost haunt the doctor when the hobo died as a matter of circumstance rather than the doctor's fault? Just seems like the creepshow powers that be were running out of bad people to bring justice to and instead decided to fuck up random unfortunate people for fun.
The early to mid-2000s was NOT a good time for horror movies... or music for that matter. We got crap like Jason X and Halloween Resurrection, and Nickelback and brag rap ruled the airwaves. Plus practical effects in movies were dying out fast. And I was in high school 🤢 It was pretty much a shit show all around.
The early 2000s was a dry period for horror. Then it came roaring back due to “Saw’s” success, leading to loathsome, contemptible horror movie imitators aplenty. I think we’re doing pretty good on that front now, honestly.

Indeed at least you watched it through twice I didn’t bother after the first watch there is absolutely no replay value in this garbage. I have to say George A Romero (rip) and Stephen King’s involvement being absent truly showed I adored the first 2 movies and I have this ghastly excuse for a sequel in my Horror kollection only cause it was $5 at a Fry’s Electronics and running through my mind was “it couldn’t have been that bad right?” Spot on review good critique this deserves all the harsh remarks it gets.

1st movie is a loving homage to horror comics and is so awesome in execution, the 2nd one may not have the comic book style, but is still semi creative and fascinating to look at, but this movie, is basically the troll 3s (yes 3s, theres more then one) of the franchise, nothing to do with the original, is not even enjoyably bad, its pain all around

That first story ends with girl transforming into the rabbit just because her name was Alice? It still doesn't make sense.
It's not explained well, but she was always a bunny the scientist accidentally turned into a human girl with the remote and then she was changed back.

Such classics like the Korean Tron review and the Queen Kong review. Some of the worst films made for some grade A entertainment in an indirect way.

I have to say George A Romero (rip) and Stephen King’s involvement being absent truly showed I adored the first 2 movies and I have this ghastly excuse for a sequel in my Horror kollection only cause it was $5 at a Fry’s Electronics and running through my mind was “it couldn’t have been that bad right?” Spot on review good critique this deserves all the harsh remarks it gets.

1st movie is a loving homage to horror comics and is so awesome in execution, the 2nd one may not have the comic book style, but is still semi creative and fascinating to look at, but this movie, is basically the troll 3s (yes 3s, theres more then one) of the franchise, nothing to do with the original, is not even enjoyably bad, its pain all around
