Thanks so much for posting all the great musick and videos- when I got divorced a few years back, my ex-wife took all of my COIL discs (and I had a ton!) and you know how cost-prohibitive it would be to replace them all. I very rarely run across females who are into Coil... but a number of years ago I came across her posts on the internet... I think she was writing to a fan group dedicated to Coil or something like that... and I'm pretty sure she said she had a husband named Mark who had a HUGE Coil collection I would trip the fuck out if it was you! LOL... that would be one hell of a crazy ass coincidence running into your comment on TH-cam like over 8 years later haha well, whether or not you are the same Mark, I am glad you were eventually re-united with Coil brah :)
Its hard to explain to people with more orthodox taste in music why I love this, but I worship at the feet of this type of sonic material (and other forms, too, of course; I have no problem moving over to, say, Leonard Cohen, directly after something like this) as it seems to explore hitherto unexplored realms of the psyche, collective or individual. Fuckin weird, yes, but also fucking wonderful.

I own pieces of the Coil archive and some of which are from John Balance's bequest and if someone took them from me I would go ballistic.
