My favorite with lion is actually jackal. When someone’s feet get sniffed (metaphorically) the lion pops his EE-1D and if they move, they die, and if they stand still they die. Perfect combo.
48:40 Slight editing mistake in the Mira section, the, it got overlapped by the jackal clip accidentally. The tip is still there though :) My apologies
51:58 I don’t know if that is the best advice for Grim. There are enough possibility for his gadget that either it can be used as a utility dump (if you’re in a full squad) or can be use for post plant situations through vertical pressure. The way I like to use Grim in certain maps is to treat him like Ying, Macie Jay’s Ying tip video to be exact. The Kawan hives are suppose to help you take over the room piece at a time, not to watch flanks. His loadout and his level 3 speed is what makes him an entry fragger.
@@Beanicle Your welcome. Since Grim recently received a secondary shotgun you have the option to use him in a way where Fuze cannot reach which is using the hive launcher from underneath the objective by creating multiple holes on the ceiling. It’s hard to get value from using that tactic by yourself so you’ll need to have at least a duo que partner to take advantage of your gadget’s 16 second map control. If anything else Coconut Brah explained it in “Ubisoft Game Plan” that with the primary shotgun Grim is the closest to replicating the infamous recruit shotgun rush.
The lion one reminds me of ryan McBeth's "create dilemmas for your enemies, not problems" line. A dilemma being a problem where each potential solution is equally bad.
another tip for Blackbeard is that you run really slow with the rifle shield equipt, if you are trying to rotate taking it off and then putting it back on and/or switching to your secondary can really help with your speed
id say people need to use amaru later into the round, preferably when execute is happening, and use unexpected hatches combined with flashes ^ shoot windows open at the start of the round, then use drones to assist teammates / scope whats the best approach, flash and go in and u can use it to change the angle for ur attack very quickly, so put those 4 garas into good use
Goyo: Generally since a while now whenever I place Goyos Canisters I try to place them around head height, because then you dont have to aim somewhere completely else and possibly get surprised by an opponent Wamai: One of my favorite tricks Ive seen is simply shooting the Wamai while it is pulling something, that way you can for example make a flash explode somewhere where it can blind you, make a nade drop on stairs etc
51:49 honestly grim has potential, he’s best used to push people out of certain areas or blocking rotational areas. He can be really strong during post plant to watch areas and flanks
I sometimes put Val cams literally on the top of the bomb and watch champs lose theirs minds when they can’t see the cam right in front of them cuz no typically looks at the bomb
Since the grim rework is out, as an avid grim player I will give one bit of advice that can help if you need it. Save about 2 of your hives for when you plant, then simply get somewhere safe to where you can still get them if they try and defuse then just wait until they are forced to push you bc your hives will let you know exactly what they are up to
For Bandit a good trick is to have a team mate with a shotgun blow out the wall before you reinforce, it is much easier to hear when tricking without the softwall there.
I’m glad somebody else has Lesion as a favorite he’s one of my go to operators because even if I do die I tend to place down as many gu mines as I can weather it’s slow down the attacker for a few seconds from planting or help my team hear it go for so they know what direction the attacker is trying to come from.
@@foxart_27 no, I actually get kills and have ears.. have good Comms and know what I'm doing. I use BB because he's the most BS operator to get killed by when he's wearing bright pink
I have one very simple tip you can apply to every single operator in this game. Use all the utility and gadgets you have before you die. If you die you should die with zeros across the board in your inventory. No drones left, no grenades left, no gadgets or gadget uses (unless unlimited) and no ammo for your primary. That's when you know you did all you could and helped your team because in order to use all that utility and ammo you have to be alive for a while. I was playing with this one guy a few days ago and in a 1v1 with the game on line down 2-3, I asked him if he had a drone left. He said yes. I said can you use it? He swings Warden anyway and gets clapped. He ditched me afterwards along with his friend because I guess I hurt their fragile egos with one simple question. I'm then ignored and then we lose. So, why the fuck do we lose guys? Because we're stupid and we don't like using the tools we have available to us. That's why we lose. If you're an attacker and you die with a drone on you then shame on you, you failed big time. I'll call it out every time, USE YOUR DRONES, USE YOUR GRENADES, USE YOUR AMMO BY FIRING THE WEAPON IN YOUR HANDS, USE WHAT YOU HAVE BEFORE YOU ARE DEAD
And for sledge yes he has a lot also use them I try atleast half use make sure you break hella floors and walls make the defenders hide in corners and play worse as they’re uncomfortable even leaving holes and coming later or never going by can bring uncertainty and throw off focus
I really enjoy watching all of your content. Especially the lore. It’s extremely interesting to see how the characters are interconnected. For a game with no linear storyline gameplay and focused solely on multiplayer, UBISOFT has done an amazing job of giving us that deep storytelling and you do an excellent job of explaining and covering that. Best of luck to 100k followers.
another tip to for brawa. do hack kapkan traps, most defenders dont even know where kapkan placed his traps cause they dont check it and this can get u some kills which will confuse the enemy and anger them. i even found kapkan dying to his own kapkan traps
Idk if I'm considered a "veteran" but I've been playing since burnt horizon, I stopped playing back at the end of 2022 and have just recently gotten back into R6 the amount of help from this guy's videos are so fucking great I feel like a lost child playing this game now, and strats I used to use seem so let's say useless now. These videos really do help out a ton.
I have a friend I've been playing with for about 2 years now who essentially mains Ying barely find out a few days ago and I guess it never occurred to me that it wasn't common knowledge.
I played Blitz a lot for two achievements relating to flashbang and breach kill. (Btw, Blitz counts toward flashbang kills for an achievement.) I play Blitz very aggressively to get breach kill. I have few close calls but man, I want to get this achievement over with. 😂
Another thing for tachanka is on consulate, a lot of people don’t realize that the floor below the entrance that most people breach through is destroyable meaning a tachanka can go below it shoot the floor out and launch a shumika through the floor completely denying the enemy team access and tachanka is safe as long as he keeps his fire up and has flank watch
Crazy stray for Lesion - go to an often entered repel barricade, break it, and put a lesion there. Put the barricade back up, and if the attacker repels up to the barricade, they get stuck by the gu and have to repel back down. I can’t exaggerate how effective this is, you’ve gotta try it.
When you mentioned fuze chalet strat it made me think about a synergy for him and and vert character playing that vert and then moving maybe so fuze could get those charges
On the subject of Ying, I actually learned this trick thanks to watching my fave team in Pro League, Dark Zero. Back in the day, the team used to be known for some awesome gadget trick combos, and when Canadian was still on EG, I remember DZ playing on old Consulate into EG, with 'Nadian Pulse. DZ knew that Troy was on Pulse, and so they brought Ying. All of EG was stacked in server defending Visa with like 3-4 C4's, so DZ countered with Ying's Candella's through the floor, flashing the crap out of EG, and sneaking the plant thanks to the Candella's piercing effect. They also won the round after with good post-plant positions. It is 100% a tactic no one uses enough. I'm definitely interested to see how people can combo the ability to push some sites more vertically.
9:16. Try a Ying, lion, Fuze combo it's extremely deadly. Ying flases so people can't shoot cluster, people hear cluster so they run, and lion pings so if they run you know where they are.
I like to use goyos canister to block drone hole on chalet, so drones (especially twitch drones) can’t get through, as well as blocking ramps and explosives, and attackers have to waste a grenade or gadget to destroy it before they can focus on the battery or electroclaw
Im a new player (been playing for about a month, level 35ish) and im really enjoying this content and have definitely seen these tips help me out in my games. Thank you for not just ignoring the new playerbase and for actively helping them out
With Fuze, rappel upside down to plant fuze charge on things. Most people assume you're near the bottom or middle of it amd will most likely miss every shot they take at you and your charge. Glaz, Sit back and play. It takes 3 shots to break barricades hatches and soft walls. Break everything and hang back. I like hanging our by sky lights with him. You don't have to use smoke grenades. Use frags to break stuff and claymores to trap enemies. PLANT CLAYMORES INSIDE BARBWIRE ESPECIALLY ENEMY BARBWIRE yes it will damage you while you plant it, but it is absolutely worth it I promise.
Glad to see someone else plays black beard I got him recently based on the way I play and now I’m a lot more confident and agro in plays. After I got him my friends said he was like the worst operator but I reminded them about how bad I am and how I play and they said it might work and it did.
Another tip with lion is use drones, when you know where someone is and you do the scan he cant move but you know where he is and you will move to them giving you free kills
You can place Wamai’s magnets on the floor under a hatch to uno reverse sledge or fuze on some bomb sites with destructible ceilings. Kitchen on Chalet for example. I made some dudes rage quit a ranked in bronze to gold ranks.
One of my favorite plays with Lion (my main) is on Coastline Hookah. I make sure to keep 2 scans and on the plant I instantly hit 1 of my scans to buy a little time to reset and then I sit outside and wait till about half of diffuser is gone and I’ll hit my second scan. Couple that with my frag grenades and I can sit outside and lob utility on diffuser denying a hack. It’s almost a guaranteed round win
Ive seen a few of videos like this, but this one had way more tricks i didnt know/forgot was possible like echo's trick and I like to play sam fisher so im definitely going to look at those cheeky cam spots
IMO playing harder ops and learning difficult/advanced strategies with those ops are actually better for new players than playing easy ones, as your opponents don't always have the game knowledge to combat it. It's always easier and safer to outplay your opponent than to outgun them, especially as you get better at the game. And trust me, your aim and gunplay will improve just as well.
The vigil trick isn't exactly correct. Like drones; they see static and if you know how his gadget works you know how close he is from the amount of static on your screen + his steps aren't quiet even when he's in his cloak but you can't really hear his steps because of how loud the static is. Good players can tell where he is just from droing around the room and pin-pointing him just from the amount of static they see, it's the same with iana, being in the iana clone form you can easily tell if Vigil is right next to you just from the amount of static you see. Vigil's ability is best used when he's at range from the clone or even drones, because if they can't hear the static, then they can't see Vigil. So he's not "invisible" he's harder to spot.
Pro tip; If you're playing against kapkan, try listening to a "Woawoawoawoawoa" sound at every door. It's pretty deep, so you should be able to distinguish it from other sounds in the game. You can also test this by going into a custom game as kapkan.
Your talm bout that weird noise sound like some kind a deep frequency i noticed that too i used to think it was part of mute set up or nomad but nomads make higher pitch version
You can also burn ads with ying charges going through the floor. Unless they changed it. In blood orchid tho, you can burn the all the ads with 2 yings The 1.5 mpx is way to easy to use. I tried it the other day and it was the most free headshots I’ve ever experienced.
52:22 these tips were helpful but I watched this vid mainly to figure out what the best strat is for grim because he is my atk main if my team doesn’t need any other role. Grim has so much more potential and his bees are really great for clearing site or locating the last player that’s ratting.
Utilize his bounce off the roof and walls to not be caught with the launcher Use it similar to smoke to keep defenders at bay and/or even to push into a room that’s itherwise being held by an angle
With amaru I personally spawn on other side of bombs so I can flank bc they usually don’t expect it, I also enjoy throwing stubs thru vents before going in thru windows
One time i did the Monty plant, i got hit by a few stray bullets but got it down with 16 health, and then i was able to get the last kill and win the round
We play Lesion very different. I hide them just around the edge of common push points, usually wait until drone phase is done and certain spots they imply to push I'll web off with gu mines at different advantages pushes
for the mute one. chalet runout can be so good. ive gotten so many kills where ive jumped out o window when they where expecting to kill me with a claymore
I just don't know about the Ash one, yeah she's great verticle but even better as a rusher, if the player is good enough, however her charges can also get rid of barbed wire, fenrir gadgets, alarms, mute jammers, etc. We have ram now and with r4-c who is even better as a vertical operator.
@XonP5 : If you play slow with Ash you're definitely in Cobblestone. You know there's something called droning before you rush, right? It makes the game easier.
@XonP5 : Highest I've been was Plat 2, but try again kid. I've continued to old a 2.0 kd for console which puts me in the top 100 who play on console. I stopped because the game is boring and only Unranked is fun when people aren't people toxic 24/7.

IMO playing harder ops and learning difficult/advanced strategies with those ops are actually better for new players than playing easy ones, as your opponents don't always have the game knowledge to combat it. It's always easier and safer to outplay your opponent than to outgun them, especially as you get better at the game. And trust me, your aim and gunplay will improve just as well.
i learned about finka countering concussions, seconds before you mentioned it in the video
as oryx if u go along the bar behind the longest one u can destroy the whole thing in just 2 dashes
In blood orchid tho, you can burn the all the ads with 2 yings
The 1.5 mpx is way to easy to use.
Utilize his bounce off the roof and walls to not be caught with the launcher
Use it similar to smoke to keep defenders at bay and/or even to push into a room that’s itherwise being held by an angle
Hey Kudos, kudos to you for making me overall better at r6
With amaru I personally spawn on other side of bombs so I can flank bc they usually don’t expect it, I also enjoy throwing stubs thru vents before going in thru windows
My favourite thing is the fact that the enemies got a teammate to go stop my flank with clash because on the previous round I solo aced
Big ups man I love the content !
35:47 what is that uniform for Pulse?
Hey man ever since I started watching your videos I’ve gotten like 2x better and thanks to you I reached plat 5 but keep up the great work❤❤❤
One time i did the Monty plant, i got hit by a few stray bullets but got it down with 16 health, and then i was able to get the last kill and win the round
This vid is so good and useful keep up the good work
18:03 how is gridlock throwing impact nades? 🤔
The jagger is crazy
I knew Ying could do that and it's my favorite strat to run with my friends. It's really funny seeing people panic and run into walls lol
No one gonna talk about that clean transition at 21:38
Awesome tips in this! Honestly learned more thanI expected to. Thanks for taking the time 👍
We play Lesion very different.
Sometimes I would use alibis clones or ability as cover because people don't want to shoot it when they know it's fake.
what ace skin is that? and how did you get it?
24:52
massive effort for this video, this is going to help me alot as im copper 4
I remember seeing a video when ying first came out of the ying fuze combo working weirdly well
dope . subbed. looked like it took a while to make appreciate the effort
I think the best pro tip for iana is, that if you have the elite skin you chat "If you let me win, i will let you peek under my skirt" top tier protip
For Ying. Yeah that was the popular play when she joined lol
Its kinda crazy that ppl dont use yings on the floor tbh
I just don't know about the Ash one, yeah she's great verticle but even better as a rusher, if the player is good enough, however her charges can also get rid of barbed wire, fenrir gadgets, alarms, mute jammers, etc. We have ram now and with r4-c who is even better as a vertical operator.
Yup rush with ash if you wanna stay in copper
@XonP5 : If you play slow with Ash you're definitely in Cobblestone. You know there's something called droning before you rush, right? It makes the game easier.
@@Patches_Gaming no point of rushing in if ur gonna waste a few time droning 😂 you definitely haven’t been higher than silver V
@XonP5 : Highest I've been was Plat 2, but try again kid. I've continued to old a 2.0 kd for console which puts me in the top 100 who play on console. I stopped because the game is boring and only Unranked is fun when people aren't people toxic 24/7.
Honestly, I watched the whole thing you deserve a like and a comment
Thorn on tower: thorn in main entrance vent go brr
The Thorn strat is hella genius
Last the whole 50 and it was worth. Appreciate the tips !
