Looks awesome. I have the same boat, had a 100hr rebuilt 460 that's oil pump cracked off where it came off the block. I'm doing a similar conversion with a 225 2 stroke, need the speeds for the puget sound. People rag on me saying to just scrap it but I love the boat and can make the transom reinforcement easily, thanks for the motivation, great build.
Hi Dave, Thank you for this follow up video, fantastic. This spring Im having my 27 foot SeaRay lifted so I can do a similar job. Mine had 2 x V6 petrol engines which were already removed when I bought the boat, I am fitting 2 outboards but will also be able to fit one in the middle when I can find a big 4 stroke at a decent price, for now I am fitting 2 x 60 hp Yamahas, wont be fast I know but much easier to control with 2 motors. I will be posting videos on my channel as I go along. Happy New Year to your wife and family, Be safe, Steve on south coast U,K,
Sir, excellent video. I have the same exact boat in AL and I was thinking about converting from inboatd/outboard to a double outboard. Your video and the work done is inspiring. I have alot to think about now.
Check out Boat Rebuild Inboard to Outboard 2. its boring but I answer a lot of questions and you might get some more details. go for it, you can do it. its easier than you think. just take your time and dont be afraid to reach out for advice.
You might benefit from a lower pitch prop . Look on line and get a prop that will get the maximum amount of revolutions for your engine. ( ie if max rpm is 4500 to 5500, you should have a prop that allows the engine to rev closer to 5500 at full throttle, trimmed up .)
Indepence of the engine i think. I have i yamaha 4.2 225 , the rpm range for all 4.2 is 5000-6000 rpm s , but from what i see my engine is very strong until 5000-5200 , may be 300hp version has the max power higher, near 6000 . In papers the 3 versions peaks at 5500 but i don t know....
Nice job! We did same thing for our Fourwinns 245 Vista. Old OMC v8 inboard converted to Evinrude 250hp e-tec.
I do not know if I would do this to my bayliner but it has been a thought. Thank you for sharing your work.

I meant the first video, boat rebuild inboard to outboard. Mobycool has all the brackets you need for dual outboards.
I really appreciate both of you for your help thank you
