LET THE HOLY SPIRIT TAKE CONTROL WHEN PRAYING FOR PEOPLE: Ministry Training healing and deliverance.

- Ministry training session 1 with Pastor Mark, and team pastor Jasnet. There is also a question and answer time which is very helpful. The training focuses on being led by the Holy Spirit when praying for people. To act and speak under His control and leading.
Our character is more important than spiritual gifts, power, or anointing. A person might think, "God is moving through me; I don’t need to listen to anyone else." You cannot help people beyond your own level of repentance. Luke 7:3 says to first get the plank out of our own eye in order to help a brother get the speck out of his eye. That’s why we have Fellowship Groups. As you fellowship with others the Holy Spirit will work on your issues.
In your ministry groups, know that the Lord has come in His authority to do a work; make room for Him. In Luke 10:3, when the Lord is commissioning His disciples, the instructions are profound. Jesus said that they were to be so focused on the mission that they weren't even to greet one another on the road. When you come into a ministry room, there will be people demonized or full of their problems who want to talk and disrupt what is going on in the ministry room. We want to be prepared to lovingly ask people not to talk. We are listening to God, and He has a work He wants to do.
You can only give people what God has given you. In John 3:27 it says, "A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven." You’ve got to be dependent on God and listen to what He wants to do and to give at that time. God has an assignment for you, and we are all working together as the body of Christ. Sometimes it may not be the moment God has chosen, and you may not be the person He's chosen to do the work. That's okay; we are just obeying the Master.
"Every perfect gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of lights in whom there is no turning," James 1:17. The gifts of the Spirit come from above. We don’t own, possess or control them.
Don’t do what seems good to you, and avoid relying on a model. The Holy Spirit has many different ways of doing things. In 1 Samuel 16:6, the Lord said, "man looks at the outward appearance but the Lord looks at the heart." Don’t judge what's happening by what the person is telling you and looks like. Be controlled and directed by the Holy Spirit and not by people. So, then Samuel anointed David, "and the Spirit of the Lord came on David from that day forward." The Spirit of the Lord came upon David because Samuel was obedient to the Lord. If you want to see the Spirit of God fall, you must be obedient.
A common error with new prayer helpers is that they pray long flowery prayers. God is not moved by your poetry. Ministry prayer is not like intercession or praying in tongues. In Mark 7:32 Jesus took a deaf and mute man aside, put His fingers in his ears and spat and touched his tongue. What was Jesus doing but following the direction of the Father? God has many ways of doing things. Then Jesus said, "Be opened." Two words! And "immediately his tongue was loosed, and he spoke plainly."
In Luke 13:11 a woman with a spirit of infirmity of 18 years was bent over. Jesus said, "Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity." He didn’t ask "What happened to you 18 years ago?" or "Do you need inner healing?" He didn’t follow any sort of model. He didn’t speak to the evil spirit. He simply did what the Father told Him to do. "And immediately she was made straight and glorified God." Sometimes we try too hard. Just relax and do what the Holy Spirit says.
Pastor Mark also gives instructions about prophecy to the team.

Sometimes when I pray a bit for people in the spirit, they often fall under the anointing and get healed, delivered or helped. I use tongues when I feel it is neccessary. Praise Jesus.

Character over your individual gifting's and anointing, humility and love over individual pride, Holy Spirit over our flesh, and shut people's talking down in humility and love when they talk too much (foolish talk). Amen to that!!
