Great video, but here’s some things I discovered when I toured these homes @ that location. 1 - their materials show they use metal rafters BUT they don’t, NOT in that community. They adv me that the city/county didn’t allow that when they began to build, so they switch to standard wood rafters. Now the county/city approves of the metal rafters but that is considered an option - $35k option (I believe). 2 - they have O, N, X pkgs, which throughout the those models you can see those pkgs. The N pkg doesn’t offer glass shower doors 2:00 nor closet maid built ins. The X pkgs offers glass shower enclosures, closet maid built ins, all windows come with the built in blinds that are in your video, waterfall of the island and the cabinets are of different colors and built in each pkgs. The only thing I didn’t like about those homes is that there is only 1 window you can open up and they don’t come with a screen (because it delays someone from escaping during a fire, which I do t believe but that’s what was told to me). I do love the build and how they look. To me those are modern and I like that. My other issue that I thought about is, if I needed to add electrical outlets outside or inside, they would be ugly due to having to do a metal pole on the wall running to the outlet since you can’t install any addl outlets in the wall because of being of concrete. I will say that the house is solid but it would possibly take some specialty services to come out once the warranty expires.
Great video Kaleb, I wanted you to do a video with Onx homes, I like the fact that all there homes are solid coincrete, people don't need to get ripped off by those high home owners insurance policy, concrete will stand up against storms and hurricanes. best.
I love the concret pre-fabric concept. I hope in the future they come with a single story 4bed/3bath model, that will be awesome. Thanks for the content !
That’s awesome! Thanks for watching. Yes, they are taking into consideration improvement to their models. I’m sure they have something 4/3 coming soon. Thanks for sharing. Have an excellent week! 🙂
I am from the Caribbean and always wondered why the homes in Florida were not built with more sturdy materials, so these are winners for me. Thanks for the reviews.
Love love love this concept of home! We need it here in FL! Metal trusses? And hurricane windows! Yes yes yes! I want one! I just hope the neighborhood isnt in a flood zone😂...I love house #2 i just wish it it had a flex space downstairs or a loft upstairs for an office bc i need 4 bedrooms already. But cudos to ONX! I want to see more from them or others doing the same! They're options of flooring and the cabinet style ect is so on point. very modern.
The first home was the real winner for me. Love the open pantry space right next to the garage in the first home. Make bringing groceries in easier! Master bath has a great floor plan with a separate tub and shower. Prices seem comparable to other new construction.
WOW!! CONCRETE HOMES!! IT'S ALWAYS A 1ST FOR EVERYTHING!! THEY ARE DIFFERENT AND UNIQUE!! THE INTERIOR LOOKS JUST LIKE A BRICK OR FRAME HOME!! LOVE THE STYLE AND THE AMBIANCE!! YOU HAVE TO INVENT THINGS FOR THE FUTURE!! THANK YOU KALEB FOR SHOWING US THESE QUALITY HOMES!!
Per-usual another great video Kaleb. As a future transplant to Florida I watch your videos to not only help in my search for a great home and location but to get ideas when it comes to home buying. I feel like these concrete homes will be at the top of my list. Thanks Kaleb, keep the videos coming.
I've seen the model home on-site and it is not the standard cookie cutter! Love it! The QUALITY is there 🩷 I am Considering the Riverview location but did not know about the Mascot location - these are my favorite overall 👏🏾
@@erijennifer awesome! Thank you for your feedback and watching our video. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out and we will be happy to assist you 🙂 hope you have a wonderful week Jennifer! 🙏🏽
Hey Kaleb and Maleb. Build in as little as 30 days??? The design does look durable. Deep entry to the front door. Good size bedrooms. Nice closet but where would long maxi dresses hang? Nice open concept. Nice pantry size. Open like that will hail a lot of dust. Good size laundry and primary. Ok size en-suite. Ok size closet but again, nowhere to hang long dresses. That should be an easy fix. Nice enclosed covered lanai. Looks like should be able to get a pool back there. 2nd home like the elevation. Good size home. Another deep walk to the entry. Nice 1st bath. Good size open concept. Beautiful kitchen indeed. Covered enclosed lanai. Looks like 2-story have larger backyards. I see. This home is wide so more backyard. The 1st 1-story is deep so less backyard. Agreed. Great sized bedrooms. Nice size primary and en-suite and laundry room with window. Oh a 3rd home ? Ok. Front bedrooms on each side. Nice bathroom and laundry. Lovely kitchen. Good dining/living space. Screened unfinished lanai. Good size backyard. Good size primary and en-suite. Beautiful homes. Don’t recall linen closets in the primary en-suites. Need a linen closet more than a tub and lovely closets but not one in any home had a full hanging area for long maxi or ankle length dresses except the 2nd one with the extra small closet in the primary. Should be an easy fix. Thanks for sharing and have a great week 🤗
Hi Cydney. Mabel is here and says 👋 hi! Yes, closets can be fixed easily if you don’t want the build ins. All the homes have good space in the backyard. We were excited to see concrete walls and how fast these can be completed. Love the concept. Thanks for sharing your analysis. Have a great week! 🙂
Nice 1 Kaleb & Maybel, good to see emerging technology in the house building process too, saw something similar on youtube from Australia - as an IT professional myself it nice see tech continue drive our world today, thanks
I'm assuming they only build in preselected communities. Be nice if they provided services to individuals with land. I don't want to build in an hoa with a tiny lot. None of those lots are what I consider big. If it is less than an acre, I'm not interested.
We got a company here in uk doing the same thing .so much easier but slighty different as they build whole thing in factory you just supply the plot of land when done they deliver house in parts . Bolt together then job done all ready to go .
Awesome video Kaleb, do you know if they will build on lots near the Burnt Store in Punta Gorda? Also if they could be built up to 10 Feet high for storm surge?
Nice floor plans and good use of the space. Why do the entry doors open outward with the hinges on the exterior? Is this something unique to the model homes only? The built-in closets don’t have space to hang long coats or dresses due to the fixed shelves under the hanging rods.
I like someone covering co concrete construction in Florida, I would like to see if there is a price discount for home owners insurance compared to wood construction.
So what is the approximate cost savings (cost/sf or % reduction) of this type of constuction versus that of conventional concrete block and wood construction?
They have move in ready of #1 the 3 beds starting at $394K and the #2 move in ready that has 2 levels is starting at $467K. Let us know if you need additional information. Have a blessed week. 🙏🏼
I have a question about Onyx! I think these houses are very nice. I was wondering if Onyx only builds concrete houses in communities, or will they build individual homes for people who have their own land to build on?
ONX only builds in their communities. They do not build on individual lots. Let us know if you would like more information. Thanks for supporting our channel. 🙂
Its nice but the wood panels and shingles are still there. It defeats the purpose. A Cat 2 and 3 hurricane will rip those shingles and the wood panels too. Galvalume should be used or a concrete roof but shingles & wood is the same problem.
@KalebShaw there's more hallway and bathroom space... i rent and own. i have chester, a dresser, two night stands and a snake tank in my room with walking room to spare. none of that would fit in there for that money. The rest of layout is nice. In my opinion they could've done better with the rooms. btw it's cool you respond. Keep doing what your doing respect💯
Their prices range from the high $300’s to the high $400’s depending on the model and sqft. Let us know if you need more information. Have a good weekend. 🙂

As long as its hurricane proof, it looks great. Owner suites kind of small but, still good models. Great video as usual.
Thanks again for watching Kyle! Have a great week!
The video you watched which is an office lot. They should have a lot bigger.
Totally moving ready Great video thanks for sharing

Glad you think so! I appreciate you watching! 🙂
Please don’t forget about the rest of the country!! Tornados and fire! These homes are perfect!
Thank you for watching!
@8:39, a venting option needs to be added so smoke should get pumped out.
Love this concept!!! Hope they come to Jacksonville
Maybe! They just started in Florida. Thanks for watching. 🙂
Awesome video Kaleb, do you know if they will build on lots near the Burnt Store in Punta Gorda? Also if they could be built up to 10 Feet high for storm surge?
Beautiful!! 😍
Thank you! We appreciate you watching🙂
I’ve always been a fan of pre formed concrete which has been around for a long time. As with any home it comes down to price.
These homes are affordable in the area close to Clermont, compared to other areas. Have an awesome weekend. 🙂
Beautiful homes they're starting to build some like this WPB
Oh yes! They are building in Miami, West Palm Beach and Central Florida. Thanks for watching. Have a blessed week. 🙂
Are there any HOA rules in this community? Even I am not going to buy any new home, but I would like to see this community.
Nice floor plans and good use of the space.
Why do the entry doors open outward with the hinges on the exterior? Is this something unique to the model homes only?
The built-in closets don’t have space to hang long coats or dresses due to the fixed shelves under the hanging rods.
Kaleb, will ONXHOMES build on private property in Georgia, near Savannah?

Do they build only in Florida?
use to sell to royal concrete concepts out of Ockeechobee, Fl
What is the price of model 1 and 2

I want to know can I get it done on a duplex
That would be great! At the moment they are not offering that. Thank you for watching!
I wonder how well they are insulated.
Hey Kaleb, can these be built anywhere? Lets say Memphis?
Hi Angela! Unfortunately, right now they’re only building in their communities. Thank you for watching! 🙂
are you have those home in tampa
What is the cost compare to building in a traditional way
Where can we find the prices for these Onx homes?
Hi there! Please email me and I will be happy to provide you all the information you need. 🙂
How can I get more info?

From Colorado,,,I like the model. How much?
Great speaking with you Gary! I will email you shortly.

I DON'T WANT ANYTHING OUT OF MIAMI.
They have a few communities in S Florida. Check them out! If you want more information let us know.
What are the prices , did I miss it? You usually say it up front
Each community has different prices, but the range is from mid-300's to mid-500's to start.
@@foxhound34do you have any this kind construction in Lakeland area
@@divyapatel5041 Homestead, Punta Gorda, and Groveland Florida are the only communities being built right now.
Why no prices. Buyers always want an estimate price
what is the price
This is what every home near the coast should be made of, concrete. I hope they sell a million of these homes. Stick homes need to go away.

I don’t think they are doing that at the moment. Thank you for watching through! 🙂
Bruh, you don't need any help.
Needs a much larger garage and lower ceilings.
2024 and they are still placing the WIC after the bathroom and the sink in the middle of the kitchen 🙄🤦🏻♂️
30k for outdoor grill and a small place?? Haha a joke. 7k - maximum for this
Rooms are 2 small
They have the same size like most of the homes in FL. Standard size. Thanks for watching.
