    I am a HUGE fan of the LO23s and the BO29s. Spot on with the history, as usual.
    Oh and the lower rear carb. I do believe that is correct for the real car. Look into that.

    • @TheMuscleCarModeler
      @TheMuscleCarModeler  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! I believe the carbs were level on the intake, but with the engine tilted back it looks lower. Should not be obvious on the model thou. I could be wrong.

    Very nice Raoul!.
    I built one of these too with the kit decals in orange, great kit.
    And as always enjoy the history

      Maybe I should show some of my previous builds.

    Very nice build. And, again, you're spot on with the history.
    As you know, I'm a huge A body car guy. Including the S/S Darts and 'Cudas. And I know I could be wrong but I seem to remember this car raced for a bit in '73. I'll have to check with my own sources to know.
    I'd also like to know how you heard the '68 S/S Darts were converted o '70 bodies. THAT'S interesting and I'd love to hear about it.
    Keep up the most awesomest work!

    Very nice build, I'm working on a 69 charger right now but after watching your video, you have inspired me to build this kit next. That engine is beautiful. I love the attention to detail you gave the under side. The hood scoop looks so amazing on this particular car. Do you use rattle cans to paint your models or an air brush ? Your paint jobs always look so good. I enjoy the back ground history of the cars you build, I'm always learning something new every time I watch one of you videos. Looking forward to your next building. Happy modeling.

      @@TheMuscleCarModeler thanks for getting back to me. Ya I’ve checked Slixx and pretty much every where I can think of. But none are out there. On another note, did you see the USAAC group build that’s coming up? 1968 Dodge HEMI Dart! Luca Cee found some SMP decals for his build, but unfortunately the fella that owned/operated SMP died earlier this summer.
      Thanks again for letting me know! Keep building those beauties!

    A Great build on a Great car. Has anybody come out with a 69 ZL1 corvette

    • @TheMuscleCarModeler
      @TheMuscleCarModeler  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! On the 1969 Corvette ZL1. Revell does kinda but not in one kit! I plan to build one but you need parts from two kits. I did a kit content review on these and it used to be a lot harder to get the parts but the newer kits almost have them all. th-cam.com/video/K-Qj7-_VDHs/w-d-xo.html. Your best bet is to get the latest 1969 Yenko Corvette boxed kit. It has everything but two parts. It is missing the L88 hood, and it has 68 door panels instead of 69 for some reason. It has all of the L88 engine parts and both exhaust systems. It also has the decals and correct dash. The L88 and the ZL1 are pretty much the same engine but the ZL1 has the aluminum block. So just paint the motor differently and you have a ZL1. The 69 California Wheels kit has the L88 hood and correct 69 door panels. Before that kit came out you had to get the 68 L88 kit for the hood and dash!

      They were available from Slixx decals. I don't see them on the site any longer so may be discontinued but you could email them.

    One caveat. All of the Hemi Dart's came with a Dana 60 no matter what transmission was in the car!

    • @TheMuscleCarModeler
      @TheMuscleCarModeler  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You are correct. Sorry I miss spoke that. I did read the spec from a sight and it was wrong also. I also read that the Dana 60 was from a B body and they moved the perches in.
