Egypt has a special place in my heart although I didn't visit there yet.about meal you've mentioned earlier,there is nothing wrong with it but for Arab destinations they provide according to their(Arab) taste.many friends of mine visited Egypt said that the main problem there is corruption specially with foreigners.

So u got caught by Egyptian customs. My friend got caught by Egyptian immigration, he was traveling from Europe. They put him in the room where already 35 40 people were detained. Don't know what's wrong with Egyptian govt.
Pls consider this lesson learned, would be a good idea to check the website(s) of the country to visit, what is allowed and what is not. It always happens when you cross border from one country to other.

It’s really a sad commentary to see you getting harassed at the airport for hours and hours on. It’s called racial profiling. Binocular was just a lame excuse. They would have stopped you with or without Binoculars. Simply put “ you aren’t welcome. Advice to all, don’t visit Egypt and spend your hard earned money somewhere else. No needs to be harassed while you are out on vacation.

10:25 Rana Sahib I have visited Egypt with Pakistani passport and then with my European passport later. With Pakistani passport they instantly held me and with European passport they were super nice. I am working with Egyptians and sadly many Egyptians are very very Racist especially to Pakistani people. They consider us as low level people. That is a fact whether someone like it or not. Most travellers come with Binoculars but you were coming from Pakistan and that made you a different person there and then they made lame excuses and held your stuff. 3 hour investigation of a youtuber is unacceptable. You will never hear that these Egyptians will ever do such things to Any youtuber Americans, Europeans or Turks etc.
