This was my favourite Triple H theme tune as it came out right after it was revealed that he was the mastermind behind Austin getting hit by the car, JR came out with a brilliant nickname for him after that “The Cerebral Assassin”.
@@crylittlesister6377yeah that was a brilliant JR quote. Also Triple H’s bold statement after it on Smackdown “I WAS THE DAM WORLD WRESTLING FEDERATION IN AUSTIN’S ABSENCE”!!!
Even though I hated him with a passion back then, even I admired how he rocked that belt. He gave it that extra prestige and made it feel more coveted.
He first used it on Smackdown when he was revealed to be the one who orchestrated the hit and run on Austin. But yeah he only used it for two PPV matches.
@@crylittlesister6377He used a even rawer version on the smackdown where he revealed it was him. Then he only used it at survivor series and Armageddon. He only did run ins on the TVs between. He was hurt.
Correction: Triple H used this theme song "Game Time" for the go home show of WWF/WWE SmackDown 2000 for Survivor Series 2000, and he came to the ring to this very theme song of that episode of SmackDown; also, he used this theme song at Survivor Series 2000 against "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. However, he did used it for the 6-man Hell In A Cell match at Armageddon 2000.

If you listen to the lyrics of My Time, it's basically about Hunter telling everyone that it's his time to shine. But once he became champion and established himself at the peak as a top heel...the theme lost it's relevancy. Now he needed other theme to tell everyone that he's the entire game, the final boss and everyone else has to play the game to get to him. And it made sense because WWE back then used to focus so much on characters and their theme songs and their songs used to represent their conditions in the business.

That entrance was epic 20 years ago and it still is!!!!
22.6 years old now
His best theme, shame it was short lived, also come at a time HHH was at his most sadistic in his career
Man I've been sleeping on this theme for years!!
There’s a version with lyrics on Spotify on the attitude era anthology album and it sounds like a mix of my time and the game
This shit was hard too and my time i remember this he used this in survivor series 2000 as well 🔥
I think he only used it those 2 times.
He first used it on Smackdown when he was revealed to be the one who orchestrated the hit and run on Austin. But yeah he only used it for two PPV matches.

He never used it at a TV. Especially not the 11/16 smackdown. He used a different version on the 11/9 smackdown. That was it.
Glad to see this version got a proper release!
Amazing theme. Especially when it was revealed that it was him trying to sabotage Austin.
