Yes, I data log in sport+ mode simply because this is the mode I always drive in. Your tune is applied to all modes however the cars driving behavior in other modes will adapt just as it would if you were not tuned. Throttle responses, heavy steering, adaptive suspension etc will always alter if you are switching modes regardless of tunes. I am on XHP so my transmission is also tuned with stage 3 removing all torque limiters and much quicker shifts. This however is setup independently through XHP itself
I do love the map switching, keep in mind people that if you're using the wired connection, the multimap set up will take a LOT longer to flash (should have realized that...)
Try running the brap mode when doing your revisions. It acts like a BOV and helps get rid of the boost spike when the throttle body stays open when you let off during a pull.
From what I’ve personally witnessed, 650ish whp is about how far I’d feel comfortable taking it with di. Anything above that I think it’s time to build internals and upgrade trans. I’m sure others have seen more but the real question is, how long willl they last.
U related to vid but I have a fbo 18 330i and I tuned my car stage 2 bm3 and my mpg went from 30 to about 16 anyone know if this is just the tune or is it something going wrong in the engine

No sir, no meth at all. I’ve learned over time about the concerns of using chargepipe meth with the uneven distribution of methanol to all cylinders due to the shape of the intake manifold. If I ever run meth, it will be direct port. But I don’t think I will bother. I’d rather run additional fueling via direct port than rely on a meth system. This isn’t to say that some people are doing fine with meth via chargepipe, but I personally do not feel that the risk is worth the reward. I’ll stick to my ethanol
Hey Jon! I might have missed the video but are you running xHP stage 3? The shifts looked a little sluggish... I been running xHP on my 340 for over a year now. No issues what so ever! I also had the ZF8 serviced before flashing. Great vid brother! Glad to see the car running strong 💪😎🇩🇪
Why haven't you done a engine tear down to see what happend to the og motor? I was really looking forward for that video to see what happened. Also what the plan for it now.
A few reasons. To keep it short: I’m moving the motor to a friends who is going to help me tear the rest of it down, and discuss what we think happened as well as my plans for the motor. I also had to order a few tools to remove the head and injectors and I’ve been a bit busy with other priorities (life stuff). But I assure you that video is coming. I want to do it right
I think wedge is great, I’ve heard good things. But there are some very specific reasons as to why i went with Chris: he’s local, he drives a car with my exact setup and I personally have friends with fast, reliable cars that are running his tunes. Not to mention his turn around times are extremely good. I’ve tuned with a lot of people, and would recommend Chris to anyone.

I don’t think I’ll run flex. I’m either full e50 tune or straight pump. I don’t see the need for anything in between.

damn bro idk I have a 340i and I was at like 30 something mpg before tune. After tune I’m at 27.9 mpg not as drastic as yours but still went down.
