How hard is it to put my interest from dividends and high yield savings accounts on my taxes? I have multiple accounts that got interest. Do they all go on one form or each is seperate? And is turbo tax going to charge extra for those forms if im a w2 employee. I believe my interest forms are some sort of 1099
From the sound of it, you’ll have 1099-INT forms for those accounts. They should be included in the free version unless one or more of them requires a schedule b form. You can always start filing with TurboTax, put that info in, and see if TurboTax makes you upgrade. If they do, and you’re not up for paying the upgrade fee (one fee-not per form/dividend accounts), then you can choose not to file with TurboTax and end your filing before the payment screen.
