I appreciate straightforward reviews from rec players. When I'm considering a paddle, I usually know its basic specs and technology. What I truly want from a video review is an honest opinion that confirms or denies whether the paddle suits my playing style. 20 minute opinions are unnecessary. Thank you for your sensible review, and please keep up the great work. 🍻
Thanks so much. You just made me feel great. I am a bit self conscious of my review style when I see others that are so scientific, or graphically rich. I hate doing graphics, and I'm definitely no scientist, so I just thought why not tell people how it plays, for me. Whether that's what the world wants or not, that is definitely what is in my ability. So that's what I'm doing. I'd rather play than take days to create videos. Thanks again,. I really appreciate that.
Hi! Thanks for the video. Would love to be entered to win this cool paddle :) I'm new to the channel and was touched when I read the description of the video describing your family's story related to Alzheimer's. I wish this channel nothing but success and hope you are able to continue to grow and raise money for a wonderful cause. I will be sure to keep in mind your discount code when buying paddles as well. Greetings from Canada!
@@PickleballTodayCanada The 108 swing weight give you lightning fast hands, coupled with a giant sweet spot makes for a beast for hand battles. A close quarters combat beast. Still has enough power to be an all around court paddle. My main paddle has actually been the Thrive Azul lately, but THREE people that have borrowed my Apollo have ended up buying one. I can’t think of higher praise than that.
Love the honest and realistic review! Sending prayers to you. My grandmother lived with Alzheimer’s for 13 years. It is truly the saddest disease. God only gives us the things we can handle though. Stay optimistic and strong! Thanks for raising money for this cause and for spreading Alzheimer’s awareness.
This looks like a great paddle! After the power craze, I think these more control oriented paddles will have a resurgence. Looking forward to trying one, thanks for review!
Isn't fat boy an ice sandwich 😅 just a quick tip for people with big hands, if you want a double handed backhand on a short handle, don't be afraid to put your offhand on the paddle head. In tennis and ping pong, it'll dampen a bit but not so much for pickleball paddles. Thanks for the review!
Just read your story in the description and wanted to let you know you have a new supporter, subscriber, affiliate code user, etc. My grandfather was a victim of Alzheimer’s and it’s a terrible disease in so many ways but keep on fighting. I’m glad you were able to find pickleball as an outlet! Much love and best wishes to you and your wife
But I'm trying to be "svelte"... any year now. I think this paddle would be good for most people that don't want an extended length paddle. It's just so easy to play
Love the brand, the name and specs for this paddle. Thank you for the quick review to pique my interest. Unfortunately, it doesn't ship to my country so I hope to get it from you instead! lol. I'm using a tank for a paddle and it intensely reminds me of my tennis elbow each time I hit the ball.
Thanks. You may want to check out our review of the Six Zero Quartz Pickleball Paddle. They ship everywhere very affordably. It's only 7.9 OZ and you can add a little weight if you want it. You don''t want that tennis elbow to flare up.
I currently have the B&B Filth and found i don't need a power paddle but a control paddle 😅 i love the unique designs of B&B paddles, especially this Fat Boy
The Fat Boy is definitely a control paddle. And as you probably discovered the Filth is definitely powerful. I agree about B&B and their designs and marketing. They really are bringing in the fun to the whole experience. The whole package you get with the Fat Boy is amazing.. Even Fat Boy sauce! LOL
This paddle screams and from the reviews it will blast as well. Hope the treatment will go well, will be glad to use the code for a good cause.

She’s a gorgeous paddle. You can keep the hot sauce, I just want that thing in my bag. Looks like a good replacement for my Spartus Apollo.
I'd love to hear about the Spartus. I haven't played one.
Did you like it?
This one defiinitly is fun.

If you are lookiing for for control and not an Extended Length paddle it's definitely worth the try.
No hot sauce with this one. Maybe a donut.
absolutely. I'll take one.
As a fat boy myself, I would love this paddle!
Haha. I won't take it personally. ;.) But maybe check out the Fat Boy as well. I did a review of it earlier.

Looks like a great paddle and I like how this is for a great cause.
Thanks so much. I don’t mention it much. But that’s why I’m going these things and why I took up pickleball in the first place.
