I've been spending a lot of time watching reactions from non-musicians and vocal coaches. How refreshing to see an actual musician react to these videos. You pick up al the right things, and you seem to be really aware of what each member of the band does to bring out the best of a piece of music as a whole. I love this. It is also very interesting for me to see somebody refer to the correct words when talking about some of the production aspects. That's a first for me. Very curious on your thoughts on bands like Leprous and Haken (if you are not already familiar with them). I'm guessing you will love the songwriting and musicianship on those bands as well.

I 100% agree with Behold. I love how it started off slow like a ballad but slowly it progressed into madness to the point where you can have a brutal circle pit going on by the end of the song.

I've just been told that Eddie Van Halen has passed. A big chunk of my young adulthood has just disappeared. These guys are just frikken RELENTLESS! They never stop slinging the cast iron cookware! I am really impressed by the singer. He has SKILLS. I would NOT be adverse to more.
