That means that a good majority of it was maxing out her matrices. It is insane that her chips cost more to get to max than the character itself.

It always cost you much more to get a 4*C3 series matrix than to get a C6 weapon. In fact in CN sercer, for F2P players, we always suggest them to ignore limited matrix and focus on grinding for standard matrix.

I'm only missing like 4 5* character in Genshin since it launched I can say that I have more premium weapons/characters with a couple of dupes in my 1st month in this game than my first 7 months (70$) in Genshin from buying BP every month meanwhile I only spent (5$) so far on 30 days Dark Crystal on ToF and I'm only missing 2 weapons (King & Nemesis). I'm probably gonna end up buying the BP in ToF just to support the game and get some rewards at the same time.

I was pretty much a complete moron when I first started playing and maxed out samir, her matrices, king, 2 maxed out king matrices, 2 maxed out Shiro matrices, 6 star frigg, 6 star nemesis and only 1 copy of each of her matrices. Why would I not max out nemesis matrices instead. -.- Now I'm just going to end up replacing king and samir. Every time I get a copy of something I have maxed out I can't stop thinking "God I'm dumb"

Just prioritize 2pc Crow 2pc Samir this is the matrices DPS units use. it also doesn't really get powercrept, it only got powercrept by 4pc Lyra matrices for Lyra, and 4pc Annabella for Annabella and 4pc Alyss for the Frost comp(new frost comp is a quickswap so you're not really going to benefit from 2crow 2samir as you are constantly switching your weapons). If you're f2p 4pc Shiro is good for the buffing/support slot weapon.
Can I ask when is the next rewards increase for crystal dust? For example, the current 6 gold dust per 30 vit maybe can increase in the future? I've been holding on to gold and purple beacons and felt it's too late to open it now, so I wanna go all in and wait for the next increase and was wondering what level it is
Yes. During rerun, you can aim for max stars. Even as a whale, this is what I am gonna do. Max star matrices on release banner are for giga whales lol.
If anyone ever asks you they should whale matrices show them this video. Any TC estimates on what the dps differnce is with the basic 4 piece? Anything under 40-50 percent is a questionable value propasition when you get the waifu at zero star anyway. Simulacrum should protect you from the thirst lol

If you sit down and start playing Genshin 18h every day, yea, you gonna eventually run out of content. It's exactly the same for ToF. I play games to destress and have fun. Genshin, at this point, for someone who just starts playing the game, has enough free resources and content that will guarantee you a minimum of 4 5* character pulls in limited banners plus their added 4* characters. You could be playing for months, and still get a new 4* character in a 10pull. ToF.. you're pretty much done in your first week or so. There's nothing 'new' after that.. The biggest difference, like I said, and my point was, a single 5* copy in Genshin can be a game-changer. So much so, that you can quit the game for months and if you decide to come back, your acc will still be relevant. People have stopped pulling in Genshin because they 'need' new characters in order to progress. They do so for fun factor / aesthetics / fandom. ToF doesn't have the same luxury. With such limited number of characters to pull from, one banner running at a time, they kind of 'depend' on people to pull to make money. Heck, as a f2p/light spender in ToF you need a freaking 6-8 month plan down the road like you're doing a work project.... just to have a SINGLE element team that doesn't suck.
Are there any advancement requirements for Volt and Frost comps? Nemesis / Tian / Lin and Frigg / Saki / Lin. I know Frigg gets significantly better at 3* and Nemesis at 6*, but not sure about the others.
For frost Frigg 0-1* is fine. Saki 1* mandatory due to her skill CD reset at that advancement. Lin 0-1* is mostly buffer support and is fine. 3* recommended cause it makes flowers generate faster and stick to enemies. If you want to spend money on any character, then Lin's 6* turns her from support into off-field DPS from my understanding just because how it speeds up her flower generation, how those flowers stick to mobs and how she can cast her field twice, and that in itself synergizes with Saki 1* skill CD reset too.
