Could of been one of the best wingers to play if he didn’t get injured
Kieran Gainsford He would of moved to centre and went to a new level
I think would have been is more appropriate
@@darylkanofski9327 ye I remember when Lote Tuqiri came through and i went wow but then JYY came through i just said best young winger ever in the game by country mile.
the reason i land here is all the rubbish about Suaalii. he has done zip compared to guys like this makes so many errors. i wouldn't pick him for penrith this weekend let alone kangaroos
HE IS, WAS, AND ALWAYS WILL BE THE BEST WINGER! 🏉🥇
I don't get it tho I've broken my ankle before and continued playing football 2 years after.
I forgot how many times this man got me off the couch screaming! Highlight machine!! I hope he is doing well. Cruel sport, i still remember exactly what i was doing the night he got injured. Heartbreaking...
What did he do again?
@@onetapclips988 compound fractured ankle catching a high ball
I loved this guy.. stopped watching footy after he busted his leg.. he was a weapon on the field.
The best winger of all time! God I wish he didn’t get injured I miss watching him
One of the biggest “what if’s” in rugby league history
One of the best!
It’s not the same without this man making nrl games look like backyard footy, gon make me cry man
When he turns thurston inside out.. OMD!
2mins 40 gets the ball within 1sec he looks down cause he already new what he was going to do could've been something special
@@volkbeathollowaydealwithit2714 he was something special even though he didn't play that long
That was just cruel what he done to the great JT
he was literally my favourite player, and I remember so many of those tries. I also remember exactly where I was when I saw him get injured. absolutely heartbreaking. But I've seen interviews with him now and he has a happy life and has come to peace with his injury
Thanks for the memories Jharal. What you achieved in such a short time with your footy that many players don't in a lifetime is truly amazing. Your highlight film is one of the best.
Him and big taniela tuiaki. Two gun wingers who had their careers cut short.
So balanced and controlled on his feet, combine that with electric acceleration and a strong fend. Complete package really. He also always seemed like a down to earth nice guy in interviews and on field attitude.
This kid could've been one of the greats - pure ability with a great head on his shoulders too
The goat!
He had speed strength agility/defence athleticism heart… he had it all. Hope he is doing well in life
fantastic player great great Bronco. Cruel that he had that bad injury so young. He would have been an immortal if he didn't have to stop playing.
I was at the game for the try at 4:33 the camera angle doesn't do it justice! That was a super high bomb and he caught it running at full pace, it was amazing
Truly one of the best.
I know he only played 60 NRL games but I still think he is the best winger of all time
Great guy and absolute weapon of a player.
wingers come and go he will be forever my all time Favorite!
Jharal yow yeh what a player sad that he had to retire
This guy was a beast back in the day. Unfortunate with his injuries.
Still one of the greatest
one of the greats !
That bump on benji is iconic
Amazing player!
This guy losing his career at such a young age will go down as the biggest tragedy of the 2010's in the NRL whose name isn't Alex McKinnon
great video one of a kind skill strength speed one of Brisbanes greatest Willie Tonga was another similar story
Absolute weapon.
Hate watching shit like this 😭😭😭 could’ve been the best winger to play. Was way ahead of every winger during he’s time, so you could only imagine
3:28 that man was cruisingggg 🐎🐎🐎 galloping fast asf 🙆🏽♂️
Easily one of the best, even in such a short career. Bloke was honestly insane. The talent he had, including his kicking game.
My favourite player😢
Nice one bro, where did you get all this old footage from?
this guy was insane
I remember the game he got injured. Would’ve been one of the greatest wingers ever
What he did to benji will forever live rent free in my head 🤣🤣🤣🤣
What is name of the music please ?
Noé Sergent Time - Inception (Core Remix)
Legend made Thurston look like a rookie lol
yippy yohw yoh yohw yeh 😂😂😂
Jharal and taniela tuiaki were the best by far during their time too bad for their injuries
Free The Goat!!
best feet for years!
Would’ve been one of the best to play the game.
Also Izzy Falou and him on the sameee team!!! 😂😂😂
Him vs latrell at origin would of been the best thing to watch be had so much potential Greg Inglis like but a bit better if I'm being honest he was big and strong and didn't care about who he was running at I remember he made manu vatuvi look like nothing back in the day
Poor bugger
What a try at 3:55
0:24
4:43 Thurston special
Brisbane and storm kings
Derrick rose of rugby
This dude getting more hype post retirement in a youtube comments section than he actually got in the NRL when he was actively playing. Why are the rose-tinted glasses donned so quickly and unanimously with this guy? He was solid and reliable, he wasn't an Inglis or a slater or a Folau. He seriously wasn't close to this hyped up when he was playing. Me thinks the injury is skewing people's memories...
What are you even talking about lol, this guy was a freak
Dylan you moron .. He was more than ‘solid’, extremely creative, skilful, athletic winger
And only Folau is a winger of the names you said🤡
