Yea, I bet it was surreal for them. Kind of like Stevie Nicks and Jon Bon Jovi. When Jon met Stevie for the first time, she said he was just like every other fan, even though he was just as famous as her by that point, to him he wasn't. Even with all his fame, he still was in awe of getting to meet her, and it was one of the things that made them quickly become such great friends that they are today, and he wrote a song for her.

I'm surprised by how many are disliking the sound of this song. This is as 80's as it can get and 80's rock is the main sound of this band and has been rooted in it since its conception. And it's written by none other than Paul Stanley. This is as Lordi as some of their most classic stuff. Plus, if you need a horror-element to connect it to the band, this is basically about a stalker (the video gives it away, also the evil laugh in the middle of the track).

@@booshting3520 Lyrically, yeah. Paul Stanley probably intended for the song to be a sweet love song. But the difference that Lordi makes is very subtle yet changes the whole perspective of the song. The difference is in the spoken parts (check out this groove and what I'm trying to say) and (most noticeably) the laugh in the middle of the song, which gives a whole new meaning to the lyrics (I wish that I could forget you,I'm addicted to you). The video released with the song also gives the subtle change away.

Quite obviously a different sound for Lordi. But at the same time it fits Mr L.'s voice perfectly.
He used to be the chairman of Kiss Army Finland, so I can imagine he was probably pretty hyped to get to sing this one.

I used to be disappointed hearing this song back when it was first released. Like, oh no, they've gone soft. Well, I'm glad they actually didn't lol, but most importantly, this song grew so hard on me I aggressively like it.

This is so fucking great! My story with Lordi ends with Deadache. I have Babez for Breakfast on CD but i don't like him. Change of music style for me was not acceptable. Lordi interested me again in 2016 with Monstereophonic. Sexorcism was the next not bad album but Killection is probably must have. I missed Lordi so much. Maby is not Get Heavy or The Monsterican Dream level but is great. I'm waiting for CD in stores.
They were my very first heavy metal band i listened to and they will always have a place in my blackened heart for that, but this doesn't do it for me.. Bring back the balls to rock guys
