Half of dragonball fans probably dont even know who dr wheelo EVEN IS and yet they actually legitimately gave him one of the best osts in the game
Also side note but I do appreciate the newer osts being uploaded in higher quality
I forgot about him, but I do remember watching the film (and seeing him in probably bt3 but idk if he’s on there or not so I could be wrong), his design looks cool and the early dbz films were interesting since at that point you only had kaioken goku, otherwise he needed help from everyone which is something you don’t see that often.
But anyways, the composer of dokkan really went hard for dr wheelo (both of them).

toriyama didnt make wheelo. wheelo's basically just based off of the vague idea of "wow, Z has a lot of sci fi stuff, lets do a robot!", and also maybe off of the red ribbon army's androids since they were a plot point in original dragon ball. (maybe the pilaf gang's mech, too).
whats neat is how the movie team PREDICTED stuff the actual series would take inspiration from, like taking inspiration from the xenomorph, and bringing back evil robots. and wheelo feels so much more distinct from his inspirations in original dragon ball, especially compared to the movies that came after (ignoring broly, bojack, and hirudegarn). wheelo's crazy underrated!
edit: actually i remember toriyama designing some of the movie villains, and apparently he did do wheelo. but im not sure if its known how involved he was in the concept of their creation or the premise of the movie.
this is still one of the best designs, and i wonder if wheelo inspired the androids saga?
edit edit: also his human form reminds me of bad guys from mega man X. the red eye reminds me of serges, but you could put him in a room with serges, isoc, dr wily, and dr weil, and he would totally fit in. he even has the abbreviation "dr. W"!
