I have a 2020 trail edition same color. They changed the trail package up. Mine didn’t come with bumpers but came with duro power grip tires, led headlights and arched a arms for more clearance.
Just rode one today for the 1st time. The power just blows my mind. And the suspension is like riding on air especially with the power steering. I really want one but that price tag ain't easy lol
i have to correct you, in the video you said the three modes switch on the headlight pod was for the power steering , in fact it is for the throttle response , performance , standard , work mode.
then it is both, it for certain changes handling, start yours up, put performance and mess with the handle bars and its like water, put to work do the same thing and its a big difference.
Great Video man I also have a 2018 Sportsman XP 1000 couldn't Love it anymore and mine has the arched A arms and the new one doesn't have arched A arms anymore .

Thanks for the video. Can you confirm if the a arms on the 2021 trail are the high/curved ones that come on the hunt package 1000's? Or is it a straight a arm that's the same as the standard 1000's? I am trying to order ricochet skid plates and to get the right one for the a arms doesn't seem very straightforward. I have my trail or order but don't have it yet to check. Thanks!
For 2021 they gave straight A-arms on the 1000 trail. I actually just ordered the same machine and also ordered the curved A-arms thought the dealership and I’ll have them put them on. I know, it’s a bummer....
Very nice vehicle! Is there any overheating issues? 1000 is high power. I see they have put a hole to left side for ventilation I think, In the summer can it make a problem to legs?
Do they not offer the Duro Power Grip tires anymore on the 1000 Trail? I bought the '20 and I think they are way better than CST's. I wish they would make maybe a Highlifter snorkel and rad kit, because a Highlifter is overkill.
I had a 2020 450HO, sold it and had a 2021 850 trail on order but I heard guys were having major issues with them so I ended up getting a 2021 Grizzly SE instead, Nice review by the way!

I'm considering the '23 xp 1000 but do you know if the different ride modes, STND or WORK unlock the rear diff - to act as if in turf mode? Really wish, at this point, this rig had locking/unlocking diffs. Great video!

Hey brotha, Cool unit you got! Hope you're the guy to answer me this but would you say the XP is faster than the 1000 S on the 0-60 launch or the 1000 S is despite the 55" stance and extra weight?
Hey Kevin, throwing my 2cents out there. I think there are videos that show this and like you say, I recall the differences in speed being negligible. I'm also considering the xp1000S and am drawn to it because it has a bigger heavier (entirely new) frame, longer travel, more weight per rack (front/rear), 2" hitch, Ranger front diff, etc. Cheers!

I just read my owners manual and it says to use either leaded or unleaded gasoline with a minimum pump octane number of 87 octane. Do not use fuel with ethanol content greater than 10%. Page 35. Premium gasoline is fine. Please tell me where it says I need a tune to run premium. Mine runs perfectly with premium.
@@kellybelanger5836 what do you drive ? If it’s a can am the 4wheeler drive sucks , same with Kawasaki, if it’s Yamaha the engine will blow unless you baby it , if it’s Honda it will last but be underpowered and no fun haha they all have their perks and downfalls .

Nice review. I am happy with my 2016 xp 1000. I believe Polaris makes the most comfortable riding machine on the market.
Headlights aren't LED either right? Its weird what Polaris cheaps out on and what they don't. Good luck with the machine.

Kelly Belanger they went to automotive style sealed bushings, no need to grease 17 grease nipples like the old. Big upgrade imo

ATV is not meant to run premium without a tune. It will run better on the 87 that its tuned for.

2021 polaris's are a joke. The 2020s came more equipped with arches a arms ext..why did they downgrade?
Polaris wants you to buy the Sportsman 1000xp S thats 55inch wide to get the arched a arms. The 2020 model was definitely a better buy.

You don't own one long enough to give review. Try keeping one for a year than do a review after riding it hard.
