I know I'm late to the comment party but great video. I've been watching your reviews on various bags (yes, including the non-English ones if only to see you showcase the features of the packs etc) and I like that you have a no-nonsense approach. The tri-zip design is great since it allows the user to load stuff from the top utilizing just the 2 top zips or open the pack from the middle using just the lower zip, or open the whole pack in an instant with all 3 zips.
Gorga,
sorry for the late answer :-)
Thank you for the nice words, they inspire me to make more videos.
I think the tri-zip layout is really good, so you have different ways of accessing your gear.
Please share your experiences, so we all can learn something new.

Super informative and in-depth review. Thanks from Colorado.
Great video! Great looking pack, too.
Great video, I currently mostly use Triple Aught Design packs but really want to try Mystery Ranch, I like their innovative design features. Aloha!
Thank you for the nice words. I'll take a hard look at the TAD packs :-)

Great video. Love the pack. Would this be overkill for using as a work pack? Basically carrying too and from military bases holding clothes/ toiletry items/gear?
Jacob,
sorry for the late answer, and thank you for the nice words.
If you have the funds for buying the pack, go for it.
It's an expensive pack, but has a lot of different uses. You might use it as a go-pack when not using it as a work pack.
Hope the answer helps.

This is when the 3 Day Assault Pack was almost worth the cost. Today it no longer has such value.
Sir,
please share your experiences, so we all can learn from them.
Did you buy one which failed?

Thanks for the video. I think that's the best review of the pack I have seen. I like the look of the Komodo dragon pack as it just a bit larger, I want something that will be fine for an over night trip with my hammock. Do you think the packs big enough ? Also where did you get your pack from. I am here in Finland and we have a dealer but like you said it dam expensive, so wondered if the was a place in Europe where I could get it from and save a few euro.
Once again thanks for the great video.

Thank you for the nice words, they always inspire me to do more and better reviews.
The Komodo is has about 6 liters more room, and should do great for 1-2 days out, depending on how much gear you bring. If it's a hammock, pad, sleeping bag, food, water and Jetboil type type cooking equipment you bring, I think it would suit you just fine.
I know it's really expensive, and haven't found any really cheap sellers in Europe. There's www.hqg.de in Germany as one of the cheapest, but then you have to pay for shipping.
I try to by my kit in USA, even if the price for Mystery Ranch is high over there also.
Hope this helps.

Ah that is a shame, I can't find a suitable set anywhere. Thanks very much!
Herlig video og fed taske. Købte du den direkte fra Mystery Ranch og er du stadig tilfreds med den? Overvejer den virkelig meget.
+Frederik Egtved Dejgaard
Hej Frederik,
tak for rosen :-)
"Stay dry!"
