Man this is awesome. Also you've got over half a million subscribers now! I've been here since this channel was very small. Glad to see your doing well and your crafting is definely improving more and more! Keep the vids up man!
I made my first and only attempt about 20 years ago entirely off the top of my head, when the Internet barely existed, so there was no TH-cam and there were no tutorials. So thank you for your videos, you create such beauty, that you have inspired me to want to start trying again, thank you...
I think this guy right here is awesome. He uses some things to build a new and amazing thing out. His videos are awesome and I can see he really puts in lot of times and ideas in his own DIY product. I think this guy deserves to have one million subscribers (love you products so much)Thank you!
My brother made one similar when he was in high school for my mother. We never did find it when she died. I've always wanted to make one. I believe I will. Sir, this is stunning.
This is so beautiful that words can't explain. Even though I explained it as beautiful. Wait, does that make sense? I don't know anymore, THE BEAUTY OF IT HAS MADE MY ABILITY TO MAKE SENSE VANISH!!!!
Damn, the old one was nice, but this one is gorgeous in the shape and color (Copper i believe?) That would be nice to have a tutorial, i see it's not the exact same technique as i see, specially for the "leafs"
I've made these before, not as large as yours. I also use beads for leaves instead some times. It's hard on the hands, easy to understand (well, first branch might be tricky but it's repetitive so you learn fast) and I've yet to see some one make a one that looks bad. The bigger or smaller you make them, the harder they are. Smaller needs more care, bigger is more difficuly to bend. Also plenty of tutorials, hundreds of ways to make it unique and it just plain looks awesome. Has to be one of my favorite projects.
Nice video...how you maintain the profile so smooth...I tried a wire sculpture. I have used fevikwik instead of soldering machine. Please see and share your review over there
I really enjoyed watching your videos where you make your barrell pen holder, multi-coloured bowls and the magic wee bottle pendants. I then enjoyed watching you make the smart lantern (reminded me of paper lanterns we made in primary school at Christmas and we called them Chinese Lanterns), along with your beautiful leaf picture in the frame, and the clock made of the wee soldiers was really well made but I felt for the soldiers! However when I watched this video of you making this beautiful tree, all I could think was you have an awesome talent man ;-)
they never would. have you seen the famous art pieces today? I think a picture of a potato went for 2. 4 million or something like that. look up " kid art or real art" by buzzfeed. it's ridiculous.
Absolutely stunning!! What a beautiful piece. Two questions: 1. How long are the wire pieces when you cut them at the beginning? 2. I'm trying to figure out the purpose of the circular wooden piece that's in there from 0:30-1:05... looks like a lot of time was spent stringing the wires through it but ultimately it gets removed... so what does it do? (I'm wondering if I need to make a piece like it or can just skip it.) Thanks!
You have a beautiful mind. Seeing you create so many things from random things Is inspiring, but seeing you create something this pretty from something so ugly. is awesome. Good job man, I love it.
What are you using to make the wire leaves? It looks like you are using a miniature roller of some kind to form the circular leaves on this bonsai style tree. It is amazing by the way! Can you post a slow motion version for slow people like me? lol
What length did you cut the wires, very interested in doing this myself because I have a bunch of copper wire piling up and selling it won't give me much lol
You ought to oxidize the top with a brush to get that copper-green on the leafy-bits.
good idea
Thats actually an amazing suggestion.
Thats an awesome idea!
Wow! That’s so beautiful! Watching him create the tree, along with that beautiful song, which fit the mood perfectly, made me teary eyed!🥲😅
How many times did you scratch yourself?
I've got hundreds of tiny scratches, Mainly from bending the roots lol
+Mist8k :)
+Mist8k sounds like u make a few Mist8ks😂
+Poop Slayer That one was good =))
+Poop Slayer 😂
WOW!👏👏👏Bravo!
I wonder how many prick injuries you sustained. Just when the world believes they have seen art...this is just beyond.
That has to be one of the most beautiful pieces I've seen in a long time.....You have a incredible gift!!
And patience
When you have nothing to do for a few days, and you feel like doing something random...
You get beautiful art. Well done Mist8k, well done.
amazing, but how the hell you made the leaves, is the thing that intrigues me
doesn't the leaves intrigues everyone? :3
+Snowballs25687 lol
its simply rolled up pieces of the remaining wire.. U did great on this one!!
I think he just rolled the ends up into a ball. xP
They are just tiny loops
that looks amazing. it lookslike it belongs in a museum.
Man this is awesome. Also you've got over half a million subscribers now! I've been here since this channel was very small. Glad to see your doing well and your crafting is definely improving more and more! Keep the vids up man!
This is the coolest thing I've seen all day
Beautiful!
I want to see you guys, making stuff together...
I made my first and only attempt about 20 years ago entirely off the top of my head, when the Internet barely existed, so there was no TH-cam and there were no tutorials. So thank you for your videos, you create such beauty, that you have inspired me to want to start trying again, thank you...
I'd love to see a more detailed tutorial on this :) it's really amazing
Watch this th-cam.com/video/Dp9ev3tmE4I/w-d-xo.html
Exactly... its too fast to actually see what and how hes doing it
I believe he has an entire course, unlikely he would make one for free
One of the best artworks you ever made
That is gorgeous. I saw in the comments that it took you 12 hours. May I ask how much wire you ended up using?
This one s about 70 meters of 0.7mm wide wire
+Mist8k tanks ur awesome can u sub to me I'm trying hard man
earn your subs by making a good content dont just ask for it.
Mist8k what sort of wire did you use? 100% copper or was it copper plated aluminium?
@@mist8k did you run into issues with the wire work-hardening due to the twisting and bending?
Best one yet, Andy!

Andy dont stop ur channel it is sooo ace and cool!!!! please please
can you make a tutorial about how to do it ? :)
I'm completely speechless after this. Amazing work.
Omg I would totally buy one. Can I from you?
My brother made one similar when he was in high school for my mother. We never did find it when she died. I've always wanted to make one. I believe I will. Sir, this is stunning.
There's patience, and then there's Andy.
thats reminds me of my grandma, she Made a Lot of those Wire trees, wish she could make more, they where all so beatiful
That's pretty sick, nice. It'd be a bit better slower in future though. Felt too quick.
What?
+Porkchopio what?
+Tesi_Antitesi I think they were referring to the speed of the time lapse, if it were slower we could see the construction process more easily.
And the result should be a reveal, not a: "here it is, lets see how i did it" format...
It took him over 12hours to make this, if he had slowed it down at all the video would be MUCH longer
this is the best video you'v ever made... EVER
how did you make the leves?
gotta say i used wire for my ap studio art concentration and i did not have a fun time trying to get it to work w me
i have so much respect for you rn
I think what everyone in the comment is saying is that we need a 'How To' video of this one.
This is so beautiful that words can't explain. Even though I explained it as beautiful. Wait, does that make sense? I don't know anymore, THE BEAUTY OF IT HAS MADE MY ABILITY TO MAKE SENSE VANISH!!!!

I'm impressed, that is beautiful
Way too fast....slow it down please!
Dude that's amazing you are very talented
Way too fast to even see what your doing. I would rather watch a half hour video then a three minute blur.
this is your coolest project
Nice video...how you maintain the profile so smooth...I tried a wire sculpture. I have used fevikwik instead of soldering machine. Please see and share your review over there

Well done.. Must have taken a lot of patience and effort. Nice outcome.
Beautifully designed
Have you tried doing this the other way around by getting a big copper cable and untwisting and retwisting parts of it?
wow! trully piece of art... its beautiful!!!
how did you manage to make the leaves?, or can you do a more in depth video of the key techniques please
Excellent. Please, tell me how many bars of copper you use?
This is art. i think you could have this on a museum.
they never would. have you seen the famous art pieces today? I think a picture of a potato went for 2. 4 million or something like that. look up " kid art or real art" by buzzfeed. it's ridiculous.
That's pretty cool. Ever thought of using Tiffany Green Oxidizer on the top to simulate green foliage?
That is some really REALLY hard work ,but daaaaaam it looks nice
Absolutely stunning!! What a beautiful piece. Two questions:

Wow, awesome work Andy
That copper looks really nice
I wish I was talented like that...that's a beautiful piece of art.
Amazing! Well done mate
that dedication...respect man!
How long have you been doing? And what's the thickness of the wires? Can you do it with thin copper power cable wire?
this thing is just absolute beauty.....
Wow! It is so beautiful... You are very talented!
What are you using to make the wire leaves? It looks like you are using a miniature roller of some kind to form the circular leaves on this bonsai style tree. It is amazing by the way! Can you post a slow motion version for slow people like me? lol
A truly beautiful piece of art.
Thats absolutley incredible 👏💯😍
a real artist he is.
One of the best video i watched, u have very patience......
Could you do a slowed down video on shaping the leaves for that? because I'd love to try it for myself
It was real... 😲😍😍😍❤❤❤beautiful!!!
What length did you cut the wires, very interested in doing this myself because I have a bunch of copper wire piling up and selling it won't give me much lol
