Full Cowling limit rise. He did that in his second fight against Bakugou when he went from 5% to 8%. I'm guessing it was the same here, only possibly a slightly higher limit, like maybe 10%.
It's the Full Gauntlet he's wearing. It allows him to use 30% at on Full Cowl, therefore he is able to keep up with All Might. As for when he uses Detroit Smash, the Gauntlet can let him do 100% without any backlash but can only do it 2-3 times.

Truthfully i wanna know how fast he truly is. His quirk gives him the speed and strength to scale buildings... Which means he has to be pretty damn fast.

@@asingularshrimp4756 Not completely correct. Mach 5 is around 3700 to 7600 mph. First it's not the air that is set on fire but the compression of the air molecules that generates heat. If you go fast enough you'll light yourself on fire. Mach 5 is the speed require to basically cremate yourself (which is a temperature of 1500 degrees celsius), however your clothing typically has a much lower temperature tolerance. For instance, if Deku was wearing nylon his clothes would start burning and generate flames first. The speed that Deku would need to do so would only be around 1500 mph
Probably one of the best feels good moments to watch in Anime in general, that duet and animation, combined with everything and lore, u can not not love this

And the Upgrades Midoriya got in abilities was mainly the long range attack with 20% and his 20% kick against overhaul, which he cant consistenly use yet because it puts to much stress on him.

I love how this sequence actually displays the difference between their fighting styles. All Might is fast, but focused on raw strength overall. Izuku’s style seems focused on allowing his momentum to do the heavy lifting. After all, speed has a level of power all its own. Izuku’s top speed, with the Full Gauntlet taking away some of the physical stresses he was under, essentially allowed him to somewhat burn/melt his way through that pillar before it shattered from the stress. In fact, right before the DDS you can see that he had to slow down quite a bit to sync up with All Might. Before that, Izuku wasn’t even a blur, the only way to track him was the light generated by OFA. At those speeds, he technically should have been leaving a line of molten metal in his wake. Even before Gear Shift, Fa Jin, and Faux 100%, Izuku’s speed feats were terrifying.

This whole scene was such a fucking flex man. On another point i realized midorya with monomas quirk might be the ultimate sidekick with the way he fanboy analyzes every hero. Imagine being able to hit a wombo combo with any hero like this.

The set up the moment of doubt Gohan was feeling and the encouragement Goku gave his son to believe in himself before giving him the strength to over power cell to save not only earth but the solar system with only one good arm was all executed better. Father-son kameha was not executed better, especially not visually. There was nothing remotely elaborate or stunning about the imagery during the scene.
Emotionally speaking, it is also a complete train wreck when you stop being a nostalgic fanboy and note the fact Gohan got his dad killed via arrogance minutes beforehand, and there was no reason for the father-son kameha to even be necessary. This double detroit smash scene has better animation, choreography(of which the father-son kameha has literally none), and emotional&symbolic appeal.
5:25 now that I'm sitting down watching this on repeat, I just realised, as Dave is talking about All Might's light fading, the star in the sky is dwindling. But as All Might says, in Midoriya lies the possibility of a hero that shines brighter than anyone, just as the rays of the sun are showing over the horizon. Cute shot, y'know, if I'm not looking into things too much lol

I love how this sequence actually displays the difference between their fighting styles. All Might is fast, but focused on raw strength overall.
Izuku’s style seems focused on allowing his momentum to do the heavy lifting. After all, speed has a level of power all its own. Izuku’s top speed, with the Full Gauntlet taking away some of the physical stresses he was under, essentially allowed him to somewhat burn/melt his way through that pillar before it shattered from the stress. In fact, right before the DDS you can see that he had to slow down quite a bit to sync up with All Might. Before that, Izuku wasn’t even a blur, the only way to track him was the light generated by OFA. At those speeds, he technically should have been leaving a line of molten metal in his wake.
Even before Gear Shift, Fa Jin, and Faux 100%, Izuku’s speed feats were terrifying.

All might & Deku move was amazing don't get me wrong, but it was not done better then the father & son Kamehameha was.
Father-son kameha was not executed better, especially not visually. There was nothing remotely elaborate or stunning about the imagery during the scene.
Emotionally speaking, it is also a complete train wreck when you stop being a nostalgic fanboy and note the fact Gohan got his dad killed via arrogance minutes beforehand, and there was no reason for the father-son kameha to even be necessary. This double detroit smash scene has better animation, choreography(of which the father-son kameha has literally none), and emotional&symbolic appeal.

The joke here is that Izuku is going EXTREMELY fast, fast enough to keep up with All Might who be fast as hell and the speedforce is something from the Flash which makes people extremely fast.
