Tyler obviously puts so much thought into his music. It sucks that these interviewers expect him to condense his explanations into like a 10 second soundbite. You can tell it's a struggle for him. That's why he reverts to sarcasm. I wish an interviewer would just give him the time and space to talk freely.
You also have to take into account the language barrier. sometimes metaphors in English don't have that same translation in another language and vice versa. It's hard to explain to someone whose native language isn't your own exactly your thoughts and feelings because they might not get the right understanding of what you mean. knowing Tyler he wants people to get an exact understanding of what he means, I'm not saying you cant do it but its takes time and these interviews do have time limit to them. I think Tyler, out of consideration to the interviewer and his non-english speaking fans, was trying to not make the answers not as complicated to understand.
Because there's secret meaning behind the album that the fans are supposed to figure out and he doesn't want to give the meaning away, he wants real fans to figure it out, look up meaning behind trench, there's a bunch of theorys

Oh my god, this was my concert and Tyler's so professional I didn't even notice he was sick. I'm glad that this was the second to last concert of the Europe Tour though and he did look well rested during the festivals :)

It's not the amount of interviews. It's the interviewer and the questions asked. There are some cases where the boys are more than happy to answer deep questions and sit through a long interview. Sadly 90% of the interviews have the same boring generic thousand times asked questions.

I watched almost every interview of TOP, including their early interviews from 2013, 2014 and their latest interviews from 2019 and newer. And my conclusion is that there is something wrong with Tyler. Compering his interviews from early years and the newest I see that he've become very quiet, less talkative, more thoughtful, tired. He behaves like he hates interviews and wants them to end as quicly as it is possible. And also he no more talks openly about his fears, his music, his passion, but ignores questions or uses sarcasm. I think that in 2018 and 2019 he was struggling with some kind of depression and hard times. Maybe fame and beaing so popular was too much for him and he had a breakdown after the Blurryface made them super popular. Actually it's very sad and painful to watch theris new interviews, especially when you remember their early interviews where Tyler was so energetic and talkative and funny. I hope he will be fine. His music and his personality are very supportive for people who are still lost in this world.
